I went through Pack Rat to have one of their containers be delivered to my home in Wimauma Florida and have it transported to Chatsworth Georgia where we are moving to. After getting that together they suggested if I need assistance at both location they work with Hire a Helper so they quoted the amount for both locations and agreed with the amount. Of course the Florida helpers charge more than in Georgia, but no problem. And it was booked for me. On the day I had agreed on they arrived about 10 minutes after 10 AM. They worked till 11:56 and had me try to do the Electronic signature with was giving problems and finally he got it to sorta work and advise a email the receipt. So the worked just under two hours that was the minimum for the hire
No problem, they got alot into the one container and I gave them a $50 tip for the two of them. But after I got my receipt I notice they added an additional $100 to the bill listed as addition cost for any hours after the two hours. Never thought it was a required addition even if it was only two hours of work. Called the Hire a Helper and they refused to remove it. I check my other contract on the Georgia helpers and it said $95 an hour for any work after the two hours. The guy I was talking with over the automatic adding of the $100 extra hour was just a BS. I would not use them in Florida and I will be discussing with the Georga helpers some clarity on the costs and how they do business.

My helpers were fabulous so that was not the problem. They were kind, careful, efficient and skilled.
My problems were with Pro Movers scheduling: they did not get my date correct so I had to wait an extra 1.5 hours for them to find someone else. They did so that issue was solved.
My bigger (2 star) problem was that they charged me for 3 hours when the service only took 1.75hours. When I called to ask why I was charged for 3 they said I didn't read the fine print and because they had estimated 3 I had agreed to pay for 2 even if it took less time. In this case I had provided the truck and all I had needed was loading labor. At $139 an hour for labor only I hated to pay for an extra hour that no one worked and after I had reminded them I had an appt in the first place. FRUSTRATING.

Pro Movers Express does not control how hours are billed or how unused time is handled. Hire A Helper requires customers to book time in advance, and their policy does not allow refunds for unused hours.
