They started off an hour late. My appointment was for them to arrive between 8-9, and they didn’t show up until 10am. They had no tools with them, not even a screwdriver. Guess what, neither did I, it was packed someplace. I showed them everything I was taking, when the time came for them to leave, they left so much stuff in my garage, and never even told me. I went out to the garage and said “wait a minute, what about all this stuff?” They said it wouldn’t fit. My sister who is 64 and myself at 62 had to unload a third of the container and repack it ourselves. There were holes everywhere, where my stuff could move and shift. I had purchased 23 U-HAUL blankets, and was carrying them in the house, and was told they would wrap everything outside. Well, guess what? If they used 3 it was a lot. So what do you think my furniture is going to look like when it travels in a container 1500 miles. I spoke to Ralph at hire a helper, and the only thing he wanted to do is credit me for the 45 minutes that they didn’t work. He was trying to make it my fault because I didn’t take any pictures. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?! It was 100• out, I hired and Pre-paid for 3 hours, I hired a service of movers so I didn’t have to do it, and once again, is all he wanted to tell me is I should have taken pictures. He also said I should have called them immediately so he could send them back. Really?!? You want them to come back, and damage more of my stuff!?! He said I waited until 4 pm to contact your company. I don’t know how much clearer I could have been, when I explained I had to be out of my home that day. I was closing on my home and it needed to be empty. With all that said, I wouldn’t recommend these people to anyone!! 4 of my suite cases, full of clothes, left in my garage. 4-5 totes, left in the garage. My 6 ft ladder, left in the garage. 20 moving blankets never wrapped around my furniture. They were in such a hurry to leave, that they never closed the door on the back of their truck, and the hand truck came flying out as they rushed out of my neighborhood. And to add insult to injury, they watched us taking my stuff out of the container and laughed. Do yourself a favor, don’t use this company, you will be sorry.
One last comment, I had a brand new power washer, in a box, never opened. I paid 90$ for. I asked if either of them would want it for 60$. Is all I have to say is, it better be in that container when it arrives, because that was not left behind in the garage.
