These guys did a great job with a a lot of heavy stuff. They were very nice and did everything I asked. They were late due to traffic but stayed until the job was complete. A+

I only had 12 feet in the UPack we rented. A. J. Helpers were very professional and loaded the trailer to the roof using every inch of space. I had no idea of how to do this and I relied on them to do the job, they did it and did right. I highly recommend them for your move!

Pros: they showed up within the scheduled arrival window.
Cons: pre-paying for a service that is an estimated time…we paid for three hours, they only worked for two hours. When asked about a partial refund, I was told that they brought four people (we only hired three) and so the cost was the same. Fine in theory, except one person stayed in the box truck and didn’t move anything, just pointed to what should be moved. Helpers complained about weight on everything - boxes, rugs, furniture. A couple of damaged pieces. When they realized they’d be done before three hours, they slowed down and took a break after every single item trying to milk their time. Honestly looked like they had never helped unload a box truck before.

Didn't bring anything like tools or handtruck. I had a nice handtruck they could have used, but took each box out one at a time. We contracted them for 3 hours but after 1 1/2 hours they said their time was up. They had arrived almost at 11am but said they'd been there since 9 30. Luckily I had been shopping and had the timed receipt and had pulled in the driveway right behind them. I also got a text from Hire a Helper at 1 45 confirming the 3 hours was almost up.
Seems like they weren't prepared or very organized, not efficient use of time.

They were on time and worked hard. However they were not fully prepared. They had no floor protection pads or protective booties for their shoes. As a result the carpet in one room will require professional cleaning.
I would use them again is they came better prepared.

I can't say enough good things about A.J. Helpers! Jeremy and his crew showed up a little early and were already ready to jump right in, even though we ended up having to park the truck a little farther away from my apartment than would have been ideal for moving (sorry Jeremy!) They were also very well organized. They took the time they needed on both sides of the move to examine the space available as well as our stuff so they could figure out the best way to load the truck, and they did such a wonderful job that our stuff didn't even shift around too much on the drive over to the new place, even though we had to drive up a HUGE hill—very impressive! They were very careful with everything, and even when the move time ended up being longer than initially planned, they were total professionals. While I hope it'll be a long time before I have to move again, I'd hire them again in a minute. Thanks, Justin!

Justin and his helper were a little late within the hour time frame they presented at arriving. When they arrived they were not prepared even though I specifically asked about a dolly for moving several heavy items. Justin worked extremely hard to combat not having a dolly, however they would have finished the job a lot quicker if they did. My husband ended up buying a $60 dolly to bring home from work so they could finish a job they were hired to do! I would use a different moving company if I were to move again.
