Ray-Mac showed up on time and to a surprise. There was an extra flight of stairs at our new apartment building that I was not aware of before their arrival. With no complaints, they began to unload our storage unit and worked tirelessly for two hours! They even completed the job in the time frame and did not charge extra for the second flight of stairs.

I hired Ray-Mac to help with packing for my move. I asked them to pack the kitchen (ugh!!), the dining room with hutch, and the living room. I’ve never seen people work so fast or efficiently! They completed the task in the 3 hour time allotted. I just unpacked the kitchen, and the items were so carefully and safely packed. Not one broken item (which surprised me because I hired some buffoons who moved me and they wrecked most of my furniture). I would definitely hire them again. I wish I had hired them for the whole move! I’m a big fan.

The young men were not prepared for the job of moving furniture and loading the truck. They worked hard but did not know what they were doing. There was one young man who had a lot of experience but the others did not have any experience.
Because of the lack of experience the person who took my hardwood table apart broke the gears trying to pull the table apart by himself. He should have removed the round table top and not try to take it apart. Not only did he strip the gears in the table he broke the wood holding the gears inside the table. Blankets were available but when they put the table in the moving van they did not cover the table top and it was badly scratched. It cost me $600.00 to get the gears repaired and fix the broken wood around the gears.
Secondly, the young men picked up my large curio cabinet by its legs to move it. The legs were broken off and the pieces of wood that remained in the holes had to be drilled out and new pieces cut to fit the legs back in place. It has cost $350. to get my cabinet repaired.
When I called the company they would not take any ownership for the broken furniture. I just recently found HireAHelper online and remembered I had used them to book this moving company.

They worked very hard for me moving some building supplies to my basement, that I could never have done. Saved me from many sore muscles! Very careful with the items and they were on time to start the work. Would use them again.
