The two guys that moved me were nice and respectful to me and my things. However, they were about four hours late. I understand that things happen, but to not reach out to your customer explaining the situation that has delayed your scheduled appointment is very bad business to say the least. Not to mention the stress, anxiety and panic that was put upon me not knowing if or when someone would arrive as planned. To make matters worse, I called the two contacts that were given to me at the time I placed my order, but every time I dialed their numbers the line immediately hung up. No one from this company bother to contact me to explain their delay. Therefore, I contacted Nicholas from Hire A Helper and he tried contacting them, but all he got was a busy signal. Eventually, and after many attempts to get a response from them they finally gave him information that they were on the way. But, by this time I had began moving pretty much all of my smaller more manageable items by myself. I even contacted other help via an app called “Nextdoor” for help with the last of my heavier things. But, finally they arrived before someone else answered back. Adriana (my contact person) is not a good business person and does not take care of her customer. To this day she has not bothered to reach out to me to explain or apologize for anything. If it were not for Nicholas at hire a helper I have no doubt that I would not have had any resolution to the tardiness of Black House Moving company.

I had them move a lot of stuff out of storage and into a Uhaul and there was a little communication breakdown on what was important as far as not getting scratched since most of the things were from a garage/workshop, so there were a few minor disappointments when I unloaded. For the most part I would give them an A for speed and steady working. An A+ for their adaptability and working around my schedule. B- for packing quality, but I did not provide with any moving blankets and such, so I must take responsibility for that. So far unpacking the truck, I only came across a couple of things that got damaged and they might not have if I provided moving blankets. Would I use them again, certainly. They were on time, but they were towards the end of the hour window that I was given. Again, I would certainly use them again.
