The crew was early, worked hard and generally did a good job.
They were a little too energetic at times, taking boxes before we had finished packing them, and rushing us along.
I am missing two tools, an Opinel knife and a Leatherman multi-tool. Since I won't get my PODS back for months, I won't know for certain if I still have them. But I had them out where I could use them while we were moving and didn't have them after the crew departed for the day.

Felix and Pierre were on time and worked very hard. It took an additional hour but it was necessary and everything was completed, whereas I thought I would have to do much more after they were done. They also let me know that there was plenty of space in the POD so if there were additional items I wanted to take, just let them know. I was able to take much more than I thought, which will save me when I get to my destination. Thanks you so much!

They came as expected. We are decluttering and downsizing and dividing possessions. They carried our stuff to the PODs and kept up with the household split we are making (we have 2 PODS with different destinations). They took what we'd already put into the PODs and condensed the space needed so we could get more in and move it safely without items shifting in transit. They worked around what we were not moving (the junk removal people came the next day and took a full truck load) and the boxes of shredding that the shredding service pulped as the movers worked (the shredders were scheduled for earlier in the day--arrived at the absolute end of their 5 hour scheduled window). Would like these guys to come back for the final push, but weather got in the way.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though.
