they were prepared for the job with their dollies to move the furniture.

They did an overall good job.
Negative:
-Provider stated that furniture cloths were to be provided by the client. Client provided and movers did not use them. Shouldn't have to ask or state which furniture pieces require furniture cloths.
-Provider should state how many movers will be there and not adjust the number without telling client (this is a safety concern for certain individuals).
Positive:
-Items weren't broken upon arrival to final destination.
-Friendly movers.
Neutral:
-Movers should know how to dissemble a TV and put it in the box if the client requires assistance.
-Mover that originally texts to confirm moving date and states they will be your mover should be the same person with the same name on moving day. (also, a safety concern)

They showed up ready to unload the trailer. They were friendly, respectful and took care during the unloading process and put items where I requested them. I would recommend them for moving labor help.

To start treated our house and property poorly. They broke our front door and either stepped on or trashed the existing property in the house. When it came to loading property onto the truck their handleing was poor, some of our bags broke because they either threw or dragged them on the truck floor breaking them.
For a scheduled 5 hour move they acted like the house was on fire, they were about to miss Monday night football and could care less about their productivity. But of course all I herd was "we've done over 35000 jobs."

M& M Moving did a great job for my moving needs. Elvis the owner called and confirmed the day before and the morning of the service. They showed up ontime and ready to work!
Since we spoke the day before, they were able to bring all the moving equipment that was needed. They were very careful with all our boxes and furniture.

They communicated clearly about the arrival. With the drive from Chesapeake, traffic can be a problem. Once they arrived they worked hard for their 2 hours, constantly moving. Nothing was damaged and they packed the POD maximizing space.

The site says 3 people... didn't say it would be a teenager under 16 being a part of the crew. TIPPING...I question M&M or Hire a Helper went the crew say don't put the tip or gratitude be added to the invoice... because they say won't see it. It puts the customer in a bind.
They worked hard... not saying they didn't care about our furniture... but they say they would treat it like their own... I question and watching how they operated leaves me to question do they care about your furniture.
If you want to use M&M or Hire to Help you question on who will be working that's not under age and get a clear understanding of gratitude (if given) the employees will receive.
Again, I appreciate the support and help that M&M provided. Question on want employees say to obtain more business or GRATITUDE!
I will know more if I can support or recommendating other to use M&M or Hire for Help once I see how well they packed the container to endure our furniture are not damaged or broken.

Systematic approach to complete tasks
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Disassemble beds, cribs, move everything possible from 2nd or third floor to the ground floor or closer to main entrance. Disconnect the washer and dryer and all electronics. Dismount TVs from walls and TV mounts.
What types of moves have you handled?
Commercial, residential, livestock, container, ships,trains, prep, load and unload. Livestock.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The ability to complete a job knowing I did the best i could.
What training do you provide your crew members?
2 weeks. Week 1-Loading procedures, tie downs, mix, and straight loads, box, container, ship, and train. Claims. Week 2- Unload, packing, unpacking, wrapping and staging. Damage control. Customer expectation. transfer loads.
