The Get A Move On team did a great job moving my belongings into a storage unit. They were on time, brought extra supplies, were careful with my items, and were very efficient. I plan to hire them for my next move!

They were very flexible. I needed to move 2 days early and they were able to reschedule for me. An hour before they were to show up for the rescheduled time we found out our truck was not returned and had to put the loaders on hold until we could figure out our truck issue. We finally got a truck the next day. With very little notice, they squeezed my job in around their other jobs that evening.
I have never seen 2 more hardworking men in my life. Four straight hours of work with the occasional stop for a drink of water or to measure a piece of furniture to find the perfect fit.
Everything fit on my truck and everything made it to the new location in the same condition it was put on in. They brought rope to tie the load, loaned us tools to take a crib apart while they worked on heavier things, brought free plastic wrap to wrap dressers so drawers stayed closed. They called next day to check on how the load made it.
Very impressed with the work they did. Would hire again if I were still in the area. Recommending to all of my military friends that are always on the move.

Kevin McMillan with Get a Move on is wonderful. He is kind and hard working. This is the second time I've used him to help me move.

4.5 stars is more accurate, but I rounded up. Lots of good things to say about Kevin and his helper: they were on time, they were prepared for the job, they brought their own equipment (pads, etc.), they respected my property and I would use them again.
I was a little annoyed that on the loading part I made more trips up and down the stairs than Kevin. My thought was that since I'm in my seventh decade of life, the plan should be executed to have others running the stairs more than me. However, Kevin was supervising the fitting of the "stuff" into the truck, and he did a superior job since it all fit and only one thing was broken. Very likely I do not understand the complexity of the "measuring" part of the job.
In the end, I got a great work-out, and the move was accomplished successfully and inexpensively.
Kevin is also to be complimented for his extensive vocabulary! (I'm not joking, and I'm not referring to profanity.) So, moving and English lessons, what more could you ask?

Get A move On did an oustanding job with both moving me out of my town house apartment for renovations and moving me back in after renovations were completed. They re-assembled a very complex L-shaped elevated twin bed set just perfectly. I have a lot of valuable antiques and they were very careful in securing them in the POD so no damage was done during transit. These are the guys for the moving Job... I highly recommend them.

Best money I spent during our move. I made a last minute reservation and they were totally flexible with my schedule. They were polite, professional, and had a gat work ethic. What can a customer expect after booking with you?
I will call to discuss your moving needs.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
A call in the morning and an experienced crew to pack/load/unload your belongings.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Since we are paid by the hour anything to make the job go quicker; break down beds, take shelves out of China Hutch, legs off tables, shades/ light bulbs from lamps etc. We have no problem doing all these things though.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have moved clients all over the country, done many office jobs, transported entire household or just a few things.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Meeting new people and seeing the stress leave customers faces after they realize we know what we are doing!
What training do you provide your crew members?
We take new crew members on jobs @ no extra cost and train them to be the best. We also have them watch multiple moving videos on YouTube.
