What can a customer expect after booking with you?

As soon as a move is scheduled, each customer receives an email confirming the move an inventory of all the items and boxes moving. Your move is not officially scheduled until you sign off, agreeing to the cost. A few days prior to your move you will get a confirmation call.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

The movers will introduce themselves and perform a walkthrough to confirm what is moving. Before we move anything out, we will pad your front door, entrance way, floors, and railings if needed. We will do this at the unload as well. Before we leave the load site we will perform a final walkthrough to insure all items were loaded. Once the move is complete, we will perform a final walkthrough to make sure everything is in its place and required assembly has been completed.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

A key to a successful move starts with packing. The key factor in adding time to a move is poor packing. A good rule for moving is if an item will fit in a box pack it and mark the contents and room. Another important part of the move is to be available at the unload to direct traffic and tell your movers where to place items. I know there is a lot to do but you're paying the movers by the hour so devote all you time to the movers during the unload.

Moving by Design is a residential and commercial moving company. We can go anywhere in the United States. We also offer professional packing and unpacking. We also specialize in piano moves, grandfather clocks, pool tables, and exercise equipment.

The satisfaction of knowing we provide an important service and that we are entrusted with everything you own. At Moving by Design, we know the least stressful part of your moving process was the move itself.

What training do you provide your crew members?

We strive to hire experienced movers, so we only need to concentrate on billing and our procedures and policies. When we do hire an employee that hasn't work for a moving company, we will make sure they have the training needed to be successful. Each employee will be trained in the proper way to carry items, how to pad and shrink wrap, and truck loading techniques.
