Please if you need assistance with knowing how big of a truck or how many containers you need. We can help you with that. If you are in Miltary or college you get a 5% Discount if it's a 2 - 3hour job. If the job is a 4 hour plus you ll get 10% off. You must show ID to get the discount. They did a great job. They were on time and prepared for the job. They had to move an upright piano that was very heavy but they were very careful with the piano and the hardwood floors. They put it into a pod and completely wrapped it and tied it down. I would use them again and recommend them.

We hired these guys to move us out of our house. We, like so many others, were not totally ready, these guys were patient, and helped us out getting organized. While we were still packing, they were wrapping and loading furniture. As it started to rain, they offered to stop, and return the next day! I would highly recommend this company!

First, the good: the movers showed up early and were very polite and courteous. However, they were very young and clearly not real professional movers--they took and made cell phone calls during the move, and they weren’t as careful with my furniture as I would have wished. I rented furniture blankets along with my truck and they didn’t use them. A number of my furniture items were damaged in transit. In all fairness, the truck I rented was a little too small for all of my belongings, but they managed to stuff it all in. So, it was a mixed bag. I’d recommend them if you have a simple job, but if it involves complex loading or fragile items, I would not.

These guys were on time, called 10 minutes ahead, finished a 2 bedroom apartment move-out in 1 hr 15 mins! They were careful with out belongings, and were polite and efficient. I highly recommend them!

Jeff and the folks from Rent a Helping Hand were close to an hour early -- which is not necessarily a bad thing -- but we had to ask them to wait until we were ready. They worked hard, were very cheerful, and had a great attitude. They were respectful to us and sought to be respectful toward our property. The difficulty is that, while they would have been fine for a local move, they really had no idea how to load a container for a long move using protective blankets and to secure a load so it wouldn't shift on a 2000-mile trip. I had to do a substantial amount of reorganizing and padding and tying down of the load after they left. Even so, they were of indispensable help getting the heavy items out of the house and into the moving containers. I might use them for a local move, but I would not recommend them for a long-distance trip that requires a careful assessment of how to pack the load.
