Alex and Ryan were the hardest working and most respectful movers I could have hoped for. I moved into an apartment that is on the second floor and a good 200 feet from the storage unit that needed to be emptied, but they still did the job efficiently, professionally and within the 2 hour window. Great bunch. Had a hiccup with start time. They asked for 8am and got stuck on a job until 1. Once they showed up though they were fast and efficient. Excellent job packing the truck

Family Movers would have gotten five stars but they were late! And I don't mean a little late but significantly and it put me behind schedule. The owner explained things to me when he got there, however, my problem was that I had to call them instead of them calling me.
What I can say, however, is that they immediately got to work once they got there and got it done! They were personable and friendly and made it happen. I would recommend them because they do a good job.

Friendly and well-meaning guys, but not professionally trained -- a bit careless with dish/glass boxes, in spite of reminders (and clearly marked boxes), dented a trash can, repeatedly let heavier objects drop to cement floors, generally a bit rough with things. Fine movers for less expensive furniture (or belongings that you don't intend to keep for years); I wouldn't use again for nicer items.
My move was from a studio apartment into a nearby storage facility. I mostly regret that I wasn't more adamant about having them move the large/heavy items first. They wanted to start with the small boxes, which created problems at the storage facility -- by that time, I had fewer options than had I insisted that we begin with the furniture (and moved the light boxes myself, and perhaps into a different storage unit).
They arrived at about the midpoint of the stated time (10:25, for a window of 10:00 to 11:00). They didn't bring the request furniture pads (not a huge problem, but worth noting). The guys were admittedly tired -- hot day, and they had just returned from a vacation. David, the owner, came to supervise but was not a part of the crew; the two guys who did the work seemed less knowledgeable.
This is David Brown here and i'll be the first to say that no one wants someone to tell them how to their job in which you refused to stop doing you stood over top of these guys in 98 degree weather trying to tell them what to do at that point even i was bothered with the move itself. Also you can not request moving pads to keep in your storage it doesn't work that way.ALL of the family movers team are professionally trained. The crew was bothered after you had your unit changed 4 time

I was very very impressed, I had to move start time back since Pod was late, David worked with me and sent two fantastic helpers. Had my pod and moving van unloaded in two hours, they worked very hard and it was very hot outside. I loved this service, so easy to use and will recommend to all my friends.

I am doing a review for family movers. There were some adjustments in the time that they arrived, but that just gave me more time to prepare. The job was completed in record time and I was just astonished at how they fitted everything together. It was like a jigsaw puzzle and almost every inch of available space was used. They were also very careful with my things. The bamboo chair was placed very carefully on top. I would very definitely use them again.
