I wished they did not show up. They were very slow and took more break than working, constantly complaining of hot weather and heavy stuff. They moved the lightest items together. They did not know how to angle big items and damaged our furniture. Finally the guys left half of stuff in the street and quit the job. I had to get two more movers to help gather the stuff from street. Very unprofessional. Worst movers ever.

KY was the most cost effective choice and they were extremely professional, knowledgable, and careful with my move. They gave me recommendations about how to move certain pieces of my furniture in the future and asked for additional covers (blankets, towels, etc) for the furniture I moved because they were concerned about keeping it as stable as possible during the ride. I drove furniture from DC to NC and everything was perfectly in place when it arrived!

They did a great job. Lowest cost of all the helpers I looked at in the Aberdeen area and got the job done quickly and efficiently. Even showed up half hour early, pleasantly surprised.

Don't hire K.Y.Professional Movers, and save yourself lots of hassle! They were no shows for me, even with confirming the details and my address the day before.
Two movers were supposed to arrive at 9am and help us load up our uhaul for 3 hours. At 9am, the company called and said the movers were running 30-60 minutes behind because a truck had broken down but was on the way. After an hour, it turns out no one was on the way yet! Another crew was supposed to be sent. An hour later, that crew called for my address, and I could barely understand them with the bad cell phone connection. Again, I was told they were maybe 30-60 minutes away but were waiting on someone. After another hour, no one was there and we had already loaded up everything ourselves in 90 degree heat. I would not use this company again. Very unreliable.

The movers from K.Y. Movers were terrific. Scheduling the time was easy and the owner was very flexible, helpful and responsive. The movers were friendly, professional, and willing to help out in any way. They went above and beyond the call of duty to be sure that we were satisfied. We will use them again and I highly recommend the company.
