They did not use the coverings to stop the furniture from being scrathed and damage.(there is alot of that.) They laid furniture flat on the floor of the trailer then stacked other stuff on top of it. The young guys were great at moving the heavy stuff and had great attitudes and doing great with speed and getting the job done however they need alot more time on the job training for covering and using covers that we're available to them. I now have to fine sand and polish four of the five big pieces of my furniture. They were very polite and swift in getting the job done. Just wish they would have used coverings for the big pieces of furniture.
My guys were following your instructions with loading your trailer because you requested it done a certain way. Your armoire that was laid flat on it's side in the trailer, was requested by you against our recommendation. You did not provide us with any moving blankets to protect your furniture, you had 5 sheets for us to use, which we did. The guys said your furniture was well used before they even touched it.

I was expecting two uniformed experienced movers. What I got was a very good young worker in Trent and a new guy that I believe was either a temp or on his first job wearing shorts, tank tops and sneakers. They hand lift everything and had a single two wheel dolly available and no additional supplies or equipment which I would gladly have paid for as we don't move often. I was expecting them to offer to wrap furniture and have some dollies to make the work easier and safer for them and the goods. I got neither. Trent 's effort made the work acceptable and he did a decent job on stacking the pod but was clearly working with one hand tied behind his back. To be clear the work was completed....just that I expected two uniformed professionals who were equipped and ready to handle our things and the problems and challenges that inevitably come up. This was not what I expected.
My guys worked hard and efficient, you are slamming them on the uniform. Thanks for the tip.
