I had MovingZoom come in to move furniture and disassemble stuff so we can re-do our floors. They were on time, super courteous, careful and thought out where things were stacked so we could still get around the house. They were done in less time than I planned and they were prepared w/ tools to dismantle beds etc. I would definitely hire them again!

Patrick and crew were amazing. Prompt. Had everything they needed and did an awesome job making sure my things were kept safe. When they saw something that may have been packed inappropriately, they called me down to show me and then took extra steps unwrapping the items so they could keep them as damage free as possible.

They were on time, prepared, worked with great efficiency and respect for my property. Pat had misunderstood something that I had told him about the order of drop off at two different addresses; when he realized the mistake, he was apologetic and took initiative to give me credit for an extra half hour (that we did not end up needing).
I will definitely use them again, should the need arise. I went on google looking for this type of service and picked this company because the rates were noticeably cheaper than others. So, not only was the service outstanding, but the price was as well.

Wow, timely, efficient, and personable; thank you Jason & Pat! We booked Moving Zoom for a two person four hour move-in through Hireahelper after a recommendation from the PackRat moving services.
Our two movers were able to show an hour early and poured all their energy into helping us unload the PackRat. They were moving us into an apartment with long hallways so they smartly emptied the PackRat into the freight lobby, then coordinated to load the elevators for efficient use as not to disturb other residents. Additionally, they helped us learn a bit more about the area as we made the cross country move from the east coast. If I move while assigned to the Silicon Valley Area I am definitely booking Moving Zoom again.

I can't thank the team from MovingZoom enough for making a stressful move, essentially stress free from the unpacking standpoint!
When my cross-country moving vendor expedited the delivery of containers to same-day service needs, I wasn't sure what my options may be to get the containers unpacked. Yet, within moments of booking an appointment, I heard directly from Pat (owner) to discuss the unpacking options and scheduling of the appointment for the day. Their crew had a full day's work already booked but they were committed to ensuring my request was met. Throughout the day I received status updates for scheduling letting me know where they were on other appointments and the expected arrival at my home. Upon meeting Pat and his team, I couldn't by more happy with my selection of MovingZoom. Their team was conscientious of fragile boxes and all items as they came in my home, enthusiastic (again - after already a full day's worth of appointments!), they were so friendly and the utmost professional. The MovingZoom crew consistently were ensuring placements of items were to my liking within my home and rooms.
I would absolutely book their company again for moving needs and I'd highly suggest others to do the same! Your moving services expectations will no doubt be exceeded.

Amidst the usual stresses of moving homes (in my case, cross-country and following six months in cramped temp housing with my furnishings in storage), I stumbled across HireAHelper looking for a few guys to unload my two "pods" efficiently, safely and courteously into my new third-floor apartment. I happened upon the company Moving Zoom, pretty new to HireAHelper. While there were several "established" companies on the HaH site with lots of highly favorable ratings, I was primarily attracted to MovingZoom's economical cost and a gut feeling this could be a decent option. Shortly after I booked, MovingZoom's owner, Pat, called to discuss my upcoming move. He was very professional, a great listener, sensitive to my specific needs, and the conversation left me feeling confident that all would go well. On the morning of my move, one of Pat's staff checked in about timing and confirmed all was still a go. At move time, two very polite and solid guys, Ilari and Andre (both recent college graduates) arrived promptly at the start of the one-hour window Pat and I had agreed upon. While my apartment complex has an elevator, and while I was able to locate the pods in close proximity, what I anticipated would be a two-hour move actually took three hours due to my underestimation of the time it would take to transport all my belongings three floors up. Ilari checked in with me at nearly two-hour mark to see if I wanted to book another hour, and I appreciated that they had availability and a great attitude about going over schedule. Throughout the process, both Ilari and Andre were well organized, careful with my belongings, communicative, asked questions about placement of large items, time-efficient, and incredibly courteous. At the end of the three hours, we wrapped up the "paperwork" (all via text exchanges...awesome), and I tipped both guys appropriately as they said their goodbyes. (Just wish I could have offered them more, as they deserved above-and-beyond tipping for their professionalism and great attitudes.) As if I wasn't impressed enough, Pat, the company owner, followed-up with a check-in call the next day. Would I recommend MovingZoom? Absolutely, without question. To anyone smart enough to scour reviews to locate a company truly worth hiring, know this: Pat's customer service approach (sometimes sadly lacking in this kind of industry) is top-notch and his staff proved to be really enjoyable to be around, especially during a period of stress. While they may not have many reviews on Hire a Helper quite yet, I encourage you to give this not-so-new kid on the block a shot. You'll be exceptionally glad you did.
