The guys were amazing. The job was tough and they weren’t prepared for that. They stayed and got it all done for a total of 8 hours.
I would suggest that you provide movers with the proper equipment for moving though. Lifting belts, dolly, pulleys, gloves. These guys busted their butts. I am glad I had a dolly, also more guys to get the job done faster. It cost me a lot. I still would recommend, but maybe smaller moves.

The good: they were on time and stayed until the job (packing two moving containers) was done.
Overall: TERRIBLE. I provided tools, wrap, and 42 moving blankets. I suggested that they remove the legs from my Stickley furniture desk before moving it, which they declined. They also did not wrap it. There is now white paint on the desk from hitting the walls. They did not wrap my jewelry armoire, and the mirror broke. I put it out on the curb for free. They caused the door on a glass door book shelf to cave in while moving it. They didn't secure the riding lawn mower, and the wheels on the mower are now bent. They put the push mower UPSIDE DOWN in the container, causing fluid to leak into the container, creating a huge mess that subsequently got tracked into our new house. They knocked down a ceiling light in the basement and never said a word to me. My husband later found it dangling and asked me what happened. We did not hire them to unload the containers after the closing on our new home.
