The guys who came to help were very friendly, respectful and they worked very hard. Not professional movers by any stretch, damaged some of my things in moving and assembling, made a small lemon-sized hole in the drywall. They were genuinely apologetic, and the poor guy even offered to get me cash from his own bank account, but I don't know how much of the fee they are paid, and I did not feel comfortable with that solution. Instead, I will make the repairs myself and just leave this review to let others know.

The move before me, like myself, underestimated the time needed for pack out. Unfortunately, that led to the team not arriving until 730 in the evening and completing at 1230 am. Original time scheduled was between 1-3. They were very professional, but sometimes speed overrode caution. I have just started unpacking on the other end, I have major damage to one piece of a large hand made wall unit that was packed as a bottom when it should have been packed on the top as it was hollow with glass inside. I also have scratches on my leather couch. Thus far these are the only things I've come across. There was major shifting in the POD this piece was packed in. They did a good job, but the scheduling aspect left them to pack out in the dark, which was not optimal. Although they say they provide shrink wrap, none was used. Instead my moving blankets and a ton of tape was used. Highly recommend that both shrink wrap AND blankets be used for more fragile pieces. I would use them again; but would be much more vocal in regards to the pack in of certain items in the POD.
For all hire a helper users:
Highly recommend that when you hire a company you COMPLETELY detail what you will be moving so you can get a correct estimate of time needed, speaking DIRECTLY to the movers. It will not only help you plan, but insure they're there when you need them to be and help the company plan THEIR time. I had 2 large PODS; should have hired for a minimum of 5 hours. Unpack took 5 hours also. Caution over speed highly recommended!

Both men worked hard and packed our POD masterfully! They showed up on time and were professional. The only complaint is that they did not bring shrink wrap, as promised. We would use them again.

Nathan and Justin called when they were on the way, arrived on time, ready to work, had the proper tools of the trade and did a great job moving my furniture into an upstairs apartment. They were courteous and groomed. It's small things that can make a pleasant experience. Thanks and I would recommend them to anyone. I'll call them when I'm ready to move again.
