These guys are so good. We book them for a full move. Today I booked two helpers, and three showed up and did the job wonderfully. Packed the pod like professionals. Will definitely be using them in the future and you shouldn't hesitate to do so either

Cortez sent out a crew to pack up all of our belongings into a trailer to be shipped a few states away. They started out doing really well, they wrapped our expensive leather sectional with blankets and wrap, same with my brand new refrigerator. Those items and all of the boxed items made the trip unscathed. Some other items however, were not packed in the trailer well and were damaged. Some is to be expected in a long distance move but, we did feel that as the day went on they got more sloppy and towards the end they weren't packing things very well and wasted a lot of space. My desk is damaged, our headboard is broken and some other things are scraped up. We also had to leave quite a few items that we think could have fit if the guys weren't tired and rushing to get done. Overall, they did okay.
We sincerely apologize for the items that were damaged. We understand how frustrating that can be. Our team provided photo updates throughout the move and worked to secure everything with the materials available.
For clarity, proper protection during transport requires furniture pads or moving blankets, which are typically provided by the customer. These are what help prevent damage from impact and shifting. Plastic wrap, which we provide if requested, is used to secure items but does not offer protection on its own. Without furniture pads or blankets, protection is limited, for any moves.
We take your feedback seriously and also want to share this for future customers, as many may not be aware that furniture pads or moving blankets should be arranged in advance through their truck or pod provider to ensure proper protection. However, we do take full responsibility for the service provided.
