The messed up my furniture and knicked the walls of my new home. Professional but very inexperienced movers. I contact midtown to file claims for the damages and I never heard back from anyone. I will never hire this company EVER again!!!!!!!!!

Mover's response:

We are very upset that you feel as though you had a poor experience. Our movers worked very very hard to get done as quickly and efficiently as possible. You decided to complete payment before our movers were done moving to try to pay less for the move. You also sent our claims team the claim on Thursday. Our claims team is actively working on this but it is a weekend. I’m not sure if you expected our team to work weekends but they don’t. You will hear from them Monday when they are back in the office. We appreciate your feedback but feel it is a poor representation of our company due to your inability to be prepared for the move.

The only move some of my items and said the took 7.5 hours. Then they broke several of my expenses items. They piled up everything in one room downstairs as if it was a storage room, they did not assemble any furnitures or put anything in there right rooms and everything was labeled what room they are to go in. My children and I had to go to the storage to move the remaining items because I had to be out by 9:00 pm that night. I contacted their office and hired help office on several occasions and nothing was done but they have the nerve to asked me to pay the extra 2.5 hours. To topped it off the guys showed up to work smell of weed they were smoking. This was a move from hell to say the least.

Good Afternoon, we are very upset to hear that you believe you had a poor experience with our company. We believe this review is slander as none of this is true. Not a single item was broken by our staff. Most everything already had pre-existing damage. The crew showed up on time, in uniform right at the time we were booked for. You were not present until 30 minutes after we arrived. We told you up from that the move would go longer than expected and would potentially require an added day. You signed all of our documents stating that you understood. You booked us for 5 hours yet we decided to get as much as we could and stay the extra 2.5 hours to help you as much as possible. We were told by you to unload everything into one room of which we stacked it all neatly. There were multiple items that had been disassembled prior to our arrival and we told you up front that we could not reassemble due to many missing pieces. During this entire process, you were extremely rude to my staff and were not present during most of this move. Instead your mother and daughter had to be our point of contact. Our online reviews speak to who we are as a company. We request that you please not contact us again in the future as you have been a customer we don’t ever wish to see again.

Wesley and James were amazing, and really went above and beyond, moved everything efficiently, quickly, safely, and even helped a newly divorced/single mama of five to help put some pieces of furniture together that I didn't know how to assemble. Highly recommend this company!! And thank you Wesley and James!!
