I want to make it very clear that the loading crew sent on Tuesday to load the POD were not OXB employees. They work for MP Movers, which is affiliated with UHaul. I would rate them a solid 5 stars. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again. That said, the low review reflected above is to express my extreme disfactition with OXB.
1. Although I repeatedly told OXB I needed to know in advance when their crew would be at the appartment to insure my younger son was there to let them in. On Tuesday, I received no advance notice. I did received a call "after" the crew had arrived. The OXB Coordinator who called asked if I wanted them to leave. I told him "no" as my son should already be there. I called my son. He checked outside. He found two men looking at the POD and asked if they worked for OXB. That's when we found out that the team sent to load the POD actually worked for MP Movers not OXB. I resented not being advised in advance of this change and especially not being advised of the time to expect them.
2. On Monday, I was asked to submit a review just for the packers and not address the issue over materials that began Monday evening. I did as OXB requested. When OXB saw my honest 4 star review, OXB called and became angry. He threatened to pull his crew off the job and I could find someone else. As l had contracted with Hire-a-helper for the labor, I called them about this matter. I considered OXB's behavior very unprofessional.
3. The ordeal over materials used and their cost actually began Monday evening and really hasn't been resolved to date. I was furnished a Home Depot invoice to support the cost of materials. Although it clearly included 5 furniture blankets, OXB kept telling me it didn't and I wasn't being charged for all the materials. The only supplies "brought" to the appartment by the OXB packers were those listed in the Home Depot invoice and not all of these were used. There was a total lack of transparency in the materials used and their cost.
4. OXB and I finally agreed on a balance of $150 with the $200 deposit the total amount was "$350". When I was unable to pay the balance because their payment system "requires" the customer to check a box that states they accept and agree with the materials listed. I was very reluctant to do this. While trying to resolve this, I received a message from OXB that I "stole" their materials and "refused" to pay. I resented these accusations. I am neither a thief nor a deadbeat. When I informed OXB of this payment problem, they sent me another list of materials which was "still" incorrect. I told OXB this but it was clear that they would never correct their invoice. Under duress, I reluctantly checked the box and paid the balance to try to get this ordeal over and behind me.
5. On Saturday the 29th, I received another completely incorrect OXB invoice.
I resented being treated like a "senile" old woman. At 79. I will admit to the "old" but not senile at least not yet.
I considered OXB's behavior uncalled for and very unprofessional. I would never use them again and never recommend them to anyone else.
I would use Hire-a-helper again but not if they use OXB.

Kendra and Quay were terrific moving partners. We needed to load a storage container going from Reynolds Lake Oconee in Greensboro to our house in La Quinta, California. We have a long sidewalk to the container location so there were lots of steps in this move. We additionally had a smaller container than expected and knew it was going to be REALLY tight to get everything loaded. Kendra and Quay got all of our boxes and bags to the container and expertly packed it to the top! We had room for everything except our bicycles which are easily shipped by a carrier who specializes in bikes. We highly recommend Ox and Bull Logistics and if you are in the Augusta/Greensboro area, ask for Kendra and Quay - they’re great!

I was pleased with Kenny and Dennis, the packing crew. They said they would be back today to load the POD. I was very disappointed when they didn't return today.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
An Immediate interaction with an Ox and Bull associate after a booking has come in would be in order to set up the specifics for task at hand.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Moving day will be the easiest of the process, scheduling, logistics, specifics already been handled. All that’s left is to perform and execute! No stress for customer.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The more prep on customer end the quicker process on labor side. Prefer beds and appliances to be broken down and unhooked. But if not it’s ok it just will be more time consuming
What types of moves have you handled?

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Nothing favorable about moving, I look at it as a physical workout but my reason for getting up daily is because what I do with ease, may not feel like a breeze to others. And seeing customer satisfaction at end of task knowing that they would still be huffing around if not for my help does wonders to my spirit! Taking stress off others without putting stress on myself is a major win for me.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All my crewmen go threw a process of two weeks with me shadowing the job before I let them loose to join already seasoned crews
