This place was terrible! They were supposed to come out between 10 and 11 AM and the guy told us he had a job before hours so he may be an hour late which I said was fine. Just call me when they’re leaving. I called him about five hours later to find out where they were at and he said they would be there in another 2 1/2 hours, so we waited again and they still hadn’t showed up three hours later. I called the guy again. His name was Clyde and he then told us that their truck just happened to break down on the exit by us, but we drove by there when we left the house and there was no trucks . I would not recommend them to anybody because they were not professional, did not even show up and I had to call him three times to find out what was going on.

They were scheduled to be at our place on Saturday between 4-5. At 5:10 I get a call saying they won’t be able to make it and would I mind if they came the next day. We had all our stuff packed up so we didn’t have a place to sleep, no shower curtain or towels to shower so we had to pay for a hotel. On top of that we had to pay an extra day for the U-Haul. We had a friend that was willing to help us unload but since we didn’t get back when we had planned, that got messed up as well. So my advice to anyone looking to use them, DON’T!
Upon learning of the situation, we promptly communicated with you to inform you of the delay and discuss the available options. We also let you know that you could contact HireAHelper to cancel the service and request another crew. However, we understood that you chose to reschedule with our team for the next day instead. Our goal was to provide clear and timely communication to ensure the best possible outcome under the circumstances.
We deeply regret any frustration this situation may have caused and want to assure you that our priority is always to deliver transparent and fair service. We did not intend to inconvenience you and are committed to addressing your concerns and improving our service where possible.

Also note the phone call was dispatched once we received the information of the accident that happened 10 mins from your location 30 mins prior to the arrival window if they were able to call at that time they would of but it was during the impact once again our sincerest apologies

Everything went great, except the drivers got lost. We are hard to find.

They were hours late, truck got stuck in the mud when they finally arrived, did not bring appropriate equipment and had to go to Home Depot to buy dollies, their truck got stuck in the mud when the worker was coming back to my house. He had to leave the truck and walk thru the mud to get back, it took hours! Then they left early and rescheduled three times for the next day, because they had another job they wanted to get to in the morning, and they never came back to finish the job, and still tried to charge me. Thankfully I took good notes and kept calling Hire a Helper to inform them about every weird moments as they were happening. It was a very strange experience. I wish the company the best, but I would NEVER work with them again. I’m only sharing this because Hire a Helper asked me several times to leave a review for other movers who might be looking for workers.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
You should expect direct communication with us. We will be in contact when crew members are in route to your destination.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
They can expect a extremely polite crew with high quality performance the whole duration of the job with no breaks taken by the movers and communication prior to arrival.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Customers should have all materials needed for their move prior to arrival(Ratchet Straps , Moving Pads, Plastic Wrap, etc.) Crew Members will arrive with a Hand Truck and a Toolset and will disassemble anything that is needed!
What types of moves have you handled?
We have been all over! We've done long distance jobs as far as New Mexico. We have experience in Military Moves .
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
I love being able to provide a top-notch service and help families be stress-free throughout their whole moving experience.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All crew members are taught hands on how to load trucks to efficiently so nothing shifts on the way to your next location. Crew members properly wrap ,and lift furniture safely and cautiously . We ensure they know proper safety techniques when carrying and lifting all furniture. Crew members are also experienced in Sales in Grant Cardone University.
