I’ve never posted a bad review on a company but this was such a horrible experience I had to post my experience. Maybe it will help someone make a better decision than I did.
The worst company I’ve ever worked with. They showed up unprepared. They damaged wood floors, walls, door frames, and furniture. Hundreds of dollars in damages. Hundreds! When I called the company to tell them what was happening, they said they would not finish the job. They told me I had to find another company. They left me with half a move. I was left to scramble trying to find someone to finish the move. They did not take any accountability. They were rude and extremely unprofessional. DO NOT use this company. You will regret it.

I was hesitant to book a service for moving after hearing so many horror stories. I decided to a take a risk, and I am SO GLAD that I did! The two gentlemen who arrived from Williams & Sons Moving showed up a few moments EARLY & they were WELL PREPARED to get straight to work. They moved all of the items from my apartment down 3-stories and into my moving truck with care, which made it easy to unload after my move was over. They never stopped moving and worked quickly. They were so careful with my electronics and other high-cost items. I would recommend this company to anyone in the Memphis area with an upcoming move to plan!!!

If you are looking for movers, call Joe. He and his crew were fantastic. We were moving a family member that was not as prepared as we thought she was, Joe was patient and helped pack quickly and still had it done on time. I HIGHLY recommend him.

Unfortunately my pod is in storage. I’m so scared when it gets unloaded. They put 2 of my curio cabinets 2 drawers with glass doors and glass sides. He was going to do this with the glass shelves still in it. Then piled things on top of curios. They were 10 mins late and left 13 minutes early and they wanted to charge me additional half hour. Never again!!!!!!!

Geno and Sonny were2 of the hardest workers I have had from a moving company! They were professional, polite, extra careful with the fragile items, they didn’t waste no time and I was impressed with their work ethic and attitude! I highly recommend them and wish I could take them to Texas with me for the unloading.

A customer can expect to quite frankly RELAX! Lol I know it seems like an oxymoron, especially on what can be such a hectic day , but that’s why you’ve hired Williams & Sons Moving. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond for our clients and ensure that they will always receive our best.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Customers can prepare for moving day by making sure that during booking , we receive the correct address with any apartment numbers or gate codes if applicable and the number of bedrooms we’ll be moving and /or items if a commercial move. If the movers will be moving items to a storage unit, that the storage already be in place prior to the movers arriving.
What types of moves have you handled?
Williams & Sons Moving has handled moves ranging from medical offices to 5 bedroom homes. We can move you locally or long distance as long as it’s in the same state.

Our favorite part about being movers is honestly the different people that we get to interact with on a daily basis. Williams & Sons Moving takes pride in being a faith based moving company. Meaning we serve with integrity and with a heart to serve while providing affordability to the community.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Williams & Sons Moving goes through monthly tram training where we review protocols for moves , the correct way to move heavy items, and how to stay cdc compliant while working.
