Our experience was great! We had an unexpected need for movers - were able to book them to work in less than 24 hours. They showed up, worked super fast and efficient and were extremely respectful and courteous. I would use them and this company again in a heartbeat!

These guys were absolutely wonderful. Helped with everything and got it done before the 3 hours I had allotted. They showed up on time- called me when they were 30 minutes away, and got to work immediately when they arrived. I have a ton of stuff and it's heavy! They were able to make it all fit in the truck with ease. They were able to assist in packing up my pull out couch, a very tall mirror and other oddly shaped items with no issue. I would recommend these movers to everyone. They made something very stressful into a dream. Well worth the amount we paid, if I ever need moving assistance again I will call them for sure.

Trent and Ricky called to let me know that they were on their way. They arrived on time, worked hard, and the three of us worked very well together. I ended up needing them an extra hour to complete the move. I will definitely contact HireAHelper/S&L Express Moving Services for my next moving project.

SUPERB! I reserved through hire a helper about 3 weeks before I needed them to move a 1bdr apt. Within 2 hours, Leshaun called to confirm. He was always accessible by text from then on. A snow storm was predicted on moving day, and he changed me to the following day with no problem. Trent and Ricky confirmed they were on the way and arrived at the promised time. They packed the truck expertly and carefully, took multiple boxes at one time, were careful with the big stuff, were polite and professional, and worked non-stop. I paid $315 for 3 hours (I reserved for 2 hrs and they stayed til the job was done) plus $57 all in for truck and supplies (compared to the $1,200 quote from a company that provides 2 movers plus the truck). I would use them again in a heartbeat and will recommend them to anyone who needs a mover! Thanks S&L!

We've noticed that customers who have items already packed and furniture items wrapped save time and money. However, we are more than happy to assist with any of these task the day of the move, just please book adequate time if any of these services are needed

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
