Pleasant Moving of Boston was absolutely out of this world! They didn't balk at the items I needed them to move, and they didn't take issue with the fact that I was less-than-ready for the move. They took charge, moved smaller items out of the way in order to access the larger, heavier items I needed them to move. They worked tirelessly and non-stop.They were on time, ready for the task at hand, and worked so hard. They were respectful of my possessions and carried multiple boxes at once. It was as if I had rubbed a lamp and a genie appeared who made my move happen quickly and (to me) effortlessly. I will recommend this moving company to anyone and everyone I know. I cannot sing their praises enough. And so, I am appreciative to HireAHelper, as well, because if it were not for them, I would not have contracted with Pleasant Moving. Bravo to both companies for a job well done!

They were the best movers I've ever had! Very friendly and everything. I had a wardrobe that would not fit and they took the time to disassemble it for me and take care of it no problem. They also arrived on time despite my early move which was at 7am. Would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I hired Pleasant Moving for a small in house move. They were competent, friendly, accommodating, knowledgable and careful. They were also able to come early, calling me ahead to give me a little notice. Hire them if you can!

Pleasant Moving of Boston was absolutely wonderful - they arrived on time, treated my belongings with the utmost respect, worked diligently, efficiently, and quickly to move all of my belongings into my apartment, and finished ahead of well-ahead of schedule. They were incredibly professional as well as likeable. The only problem with Pleasant Moving was that they were over an hour late. This might have been okay but what was a beautiful day turned into a horrible thunderstorm within that hour. I would recommend booking far in advance and scheduling them for very early in the day. I believe that I was their last job of the day and they couldn't come on time because other people kept them longer throughout the day. They were very prepared for the job and came to work. They worked very hard. The entire time I thought that they were not paying attention to all of the writing on the boxes (ie FRAGILE). I was very concerned that everything would be broken when I finished my move. When I unpacked I saw that they had placed everything perfectly and more things were broken in my car than in the moving truck. One table did have a hole in it, but it was crappy IKEA. I would recommend getting some furniture protectors. I would use them again but I would have them arrive very early.

Pleasant Moving certainly lived up to their name. Not only did they arrive on time,but were in constant communication as to when they would arrive. Upon arrival, they immediately went to work. Andrew, explaining the process and having me sign papers while Robert began carrying items to the truck. They handled all of the furniture as if it were their own, carefully moving through doorways to ensure nothing was harmed. Conversation with them was always respectful and courteous. I would highly recommend them and would assuredly hire them again. Thanks guys for a great job, well done.

These guys made me pick a specific window and then called when they were on their way, which was OK. I prefer an exact time to a window. They worked hard and quickly...but they were also kind of "plopping" the boxes. You know, not lowering them all the way down...getting to knee height and then dropping them. My boxes marked "Super Fragile" and "Fragile Glass" ended up on the bottom on off the boxes! They actually left a few things in the truck and then brought one upstairs fishing for a tip. I would pass on these movers.

The movers were late because the previous job was much larger than they expected. They brought a third person in, without charge. They were very efficient in getting the items out of the house as well as careful with the items they were carrying. I would highly recommend them again. As a matter of fact, the items they moved went into a storage unit. When it is time for these items to be moved, I will definitely call them back.
