Overall, they did a great job and worked really hard for the full two hours that I had hired them for. They were a little late on their arrival (which wasn't their fault) but made up for it by bringing an additional worker and didn't charge me extra. They were very respectful of the belongings that I instructed them to be careful with. I would definitely recommend them to others and I would hire them again.

The guys were very nice but came unprepared. I've used hire-a-helper before and the men and with Dolly's and hand trucks, even plastic wrap and furniture pads. These guys came in a car with nothing? Even though the company profile said they had equipment. Again, they were extremely nice and respectful/courteous- just make sure you ask them to bring whatever you may need.

They arrived early, worked hard from the beginning. They understood how to pack efficiently, using all the space available. They were thorough in planning the move, had the equipment necessary to do the job, moved furniture and boxes effectively. We would use them again!

I hired 2 movers for 2 hours. They called me when they arrived,and made sure to keep me updated. I was actually across the country when they arrived, and my roommate was the one who let them in. So the updates had to be via cell phone,but it ended up easier than i thought.
I had asked them to bring a mattress cover for my King bed, and they did, which was awesome! They worked hard and did a great job. If I ever have to be in Rhode Island again, I would hire them again!

No one likes to move but Halkus sure did make it so much easier than I ever thought possible!! They were such nice young men who were on time, polite and ever so careful with all of our furniture! They unpacked our Pack Rat storage unit in under 2 hours. I would recommend them very highly to anyone that is moving and would hire them again myself! It was a pleasure working with them!!!

The two movers arrived on time and ready to empty my pod - they went right to work and didn't stop until the pod was empty. They had to carry everything up THREE flights of stairs and did so without complaint.
They worked hard and followed all my directions, Both men were amiable and I would certainly use them again

On time, worked hard, very nice. I would recommend if you need help moving or other general labor. Very polite and respectful gentleman.

They did a good job and packed the moving pod the best they could. They were very polite and courteous. The price is definitely incomparable to other moving companies, so go with Halkus -- it's worth it. My only recommendation would be to practice better communication beforehand. I called the number provided to me several times and left a message but I didn't get confirmation until 2 days prior to the job. Also, Rob called the morning of to tell me he woke up late and would be late to the 9-10AM arrival, but actually the job was scheduled for 10-11AM so he was on time. I thought that was amusing.

These guys are awesome! Go with them. They got there and did it all for me. I was beat from moving what I could so they did the rest! I think we were all done with my bedroom set, couch, fireplace, and about 10 boxes in about an hour. And then they helped me set up the bed frame and attach the mirror to the dresser.
