The movers did a good job and worked hard, but they really didn’t finish the job and left a lot of little stuff that we had to move ourselves. The movers just threw a big rug on top of everything in the U-Haul and insisted that there was no more room in the U-Haul for anything else, but I think with careful rearranging, we were able to fit more stuff into the U-Haul. They were on time and prepared for the job. The movers were respectful of our property and goods and we would use them again.

The two helpers we received did a fabulous job, worked hard and got everything done a lot quicker than anticipated. They called before they came and arrived at the time they advised. They were very respectful to our goods and I would definitely use them again.

The crew from Lewis Moving Service provided just the best moving service that I have ever had. They actually arrived early and called to notify me that. this would be the case. They evaluated the site and workload and immediately set to work. They were an amazing team to watch in action. Given past moves, including military moves, I was in awe of how quickly and efficiently they worked. I have never in my life seen a crew to work so hard, and non-stop. The strength they exhibited in moving my furniture astounded me, and my grandchildren who were likewise blown away. Despite their speed, they were also very respectful of myself, my family, and of my home and belongings. Rick can pack a POD like a hand in a glove, there is absolutely no wasted space, just like when I pack boxes. I do not like space for items to shift, and apparently neither does Rick; thank you sir, I appreciate your effort and skill. Calvin, as the team leader, kept things very well organized. I was an exhausted, nervous wreck when they arrived. He soon had me believing that all would be well. His calm, reassuring manner was absolutely key for me to survive this day. If there is any way that I could successfully request this same team for my Sunday loading of POD #2, if they are willing to do so, PLEASE make it happen. I have already spread the word amongst a couple of my neighbors that this is who you may want to hire in the future. Outstanding job!

Calvin and his crew were on time, worked hard and were incredibly fast. They were also very careful not to ding our house or the items being moved. On top of that, they were pleasant and polite.

We had a great experience with HireAHelper from start to finish. My initial call with HaH was wonderful, their phone rep was sweet, responsive and accommodating. We did have to bump our move day by one day (from a Friday to Saturday) a few days later tho, and this worried me. HaH and Lewis were great about the change and it was no difference in cost. The movers themselves we courteous, professional and FAST. The whole experience was fantastic and we intend to use them again to unpack the pod when we settle into our new place. Would highly recommend.

This group was careless with my boxes/furniture. They precariously leaned things up in my lobby which toppled over and destroyed a decorative plant. Fortunately my things did not break in the process. Finally, they destroyed an exit sign in the building without telling me. The next day I got a call from my building management that they had it on camera and I was held responsible.
