Moving from one home to another is a very stressful endeavor especially when you are 81 years old. I found Hire a Helper and IJC on line. Not having moved very often in my lifetime I was gambling I was making a good choice. I was and am pleased with the final result. The movers arrived on time even though Pine City addresses can be confusing. They immediately got to work and were careful to protect my property. They did a good job placing my furniture in my new residence. I hope at my age I will not have to do any more moves. Too much work. If I would need movers again I would be happy to work with these young men again. They were super polite and efficient. I had 3 friends with me and they commented on how well the move went. These young men deserve a well done from four fussy senior citizens.

Best hire ever! Guys showed up 10 minutes early. They finished with 30 minutes to spare and asked if there wasn’t anything else they could help with.

I was a little put off by the team not having any dolly or anything for heavy furniture. Even though I asked for that. However, they did a remarkable job without them. They got everything in with the brute strength. So all was good. They also did it in record time

We scheduled 3 hours of help and it was confirmed by the company. However, after two hours they said our time is over and if we still need their help we need to pay extra. Didn't finish what they were supposed to finish and left. Two ladies got stuck with remaining heavy pieces of furniture because of this. It took a call to the scheduling office to sort it out and get partial refund. Beware that you need to print out the scheduled service time to prove it.
In addition, they were rather careless with handling of our belongings. For example, our freezer got some dings after their haul. We got disappointed.
