Editing my original negative review because Keep Moving Forward offered an acceptable solution to the issues I had during the move. I was not expecting the owner's response below, so I really do want to address this, even though I was intending to make this a much shorter edit.
The third-party broker comment: You honestly do not have any right to push this back onto me or this broker website YOU signed up to utilize, especially considering I received an e-mail stating your company confirmed my job yet did not see or remember my job on the day of the move. I understand these things happen, but stating I would have a better resolution if I had just booked with you directly is rude/uncalled for on both my part and this website's. I'm sorry but that comment was arrogant.
The TV situation - I understand your reasoning, however, most people don't keep large TV boxes, and these TVs transported fine without them with my last movers. Every company is different, but it would be nice if you could possibly send out a "tips" e-mail ahead of time. In my case I would have been more than happy to locate and provide a box. I don't blame you, just would have appreciated a heads up on that, as I have not had a mover refuse to move a TV without a box. Also, the TV I was unable to transport was not the same type as the other 2, it had uniform thickness from top to bottom. I don't remember you stating you would not get that one either, just the 2 OLED TVs.
Lastly, the mattress comment is a bit rude to put this out to the public eye, but again your reason is fair. I just wish you had evaluated and informed me ahead of time - or at all, because I was unaware until late at night when I had no time left to remove it. I could have called a friend to help - my mother, who was my only other helper that day, has metal plates in her wrist which is why she could not assist and why I had asked you guys to help.
All of this being said - I really, truly do appreciate the refund as well as the extra time you provided at no charge to ensure we were taken care of. Regardless of the issues we faced, you handled the rest of our belongings with care. You also stepped in as the primary mover to ensure we had 2 people that day. These facts were not taken for granted. I want to make that clear. For these reasons, I would recommend you all to others.
We just needed those tvs in a TV box because that is how they are supposed to me moved given they are less than a quarter inch think with a heavy base. I'm sorry to hear you broke it
It takes weeks to relieve any payment from hire a helper and we would have been a fraction of the cost had you booked with us directly.
That mattress was horrifying. An absolute health hazard and I refused to touch it when I realized how damp it was.
