MD Expert Movers are truly experts. They were very knowledgable about how to pack the truck to capitalize on our space. They used plastic wrap and cardboard skillfully to make sure that none of our items were damaged. A testament to their success was the fact that none of our personal belongings were damaged in our move including our various glass top pieces, picture frames, TVs et cetera which were not packed into a box. The most amazing part...These guys never stopped moving. They were either planning where to put a box, taking apart a table, or hauling something into our truck. They used our 3 hours well and I am incredibly impressed. We have moved out of state, but if I ever move back to MD - I will be looking to MD Expert to help me with the trip.

The movers we had were terrific. They were on time, gave us a 15 mins heads-up that we appreciated to plan for their arrival. They were equipped with the tools needed for the job. They were respectful of our property and worked extremely HARD! In the future, I would love to request the very same 2 gentlemen ( I was so busy getting things together, I completely forgot their names ) that made our move possible. MD movers , please give them a BIG thank you! They are the reason I am taking a pause in my work day to make this review!

Just awesome! I couldn’t be more pleased!! I need to do another Pod and will most certainly go back to MD Expert Movers and will ask for the same team again. These gentlemen were skilled, knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful of my home and belongings. I am amazed at how much they were able to get into a single Pod! They showed up on time and finished within the hours I’d requested. BTW, communication ahead of time with Sarah was just as pleasant. I would recommend to my friends and family. :-)

There was some swizzling on the start time and issues with traffic, but absolutely worth the wait. Two people packed a POD of heavy furniture- a lot of solid wood pieces- plus some other items. Despite rain, they got the work done. We had read the instructions so we had packing blankets ready for them, but did not know we needed cardboard (which we did have available in the garage.) They came with straps, dollies and shrink wrap at no fee, but most of all they had the know-how of how to get long and heavy pieces up, over and out of a split foyer house. Every item was wrapped in blankets and covered in shrink wrap. We also hired for some extra hours and that was a great value.

Team Pierre and Desiree did a fantastic professional job loading our rented 8x8x16 POD. It took them exactly three hours to complete the job with no issues or concerns. We highly recommend them.

We were scheduled for 9-10am arrival, they got here precisely at 10am. Both movers were friendly and personable.
We had some heavy items to pack and move around our condo and they jumped in quickly and got it all done easily.

Movers arrived on-time and did such a great job within the 2-hour allotted time despite the heat. The two movers handled my items with care and made the stressful experience of moving a little bit less stressful. Despite my worries, they fit everything in the delivered POD and tied everything down without me having to ask. I would use them again and will recommend them to others as well.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though. Is your company moving to a new building? Switching floors in your current space? Do you need someone to finally get that old copier down to the basement? Hauling junk? We can help!
