What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We will call you 1 - 2 days prior to you move to confirm all information about the move and ask questions about changes that may have occurred since booking. The moving team will call 30 minutes prior to their arrival.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will show up ready to help you with your move. The lead mover "Captain" will go over some paperwork and ask to do a walk through of what is being moved. If there are items that you do not want moved let them know at this time. If there is an item you want off the truck first let them know. If there is a very delicate piece of furniture that may need additional care they should let the captain know at that time. The beginning of the move will go slow as the crew prepares the furniture to be loaded
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
If clients want to keep their moving costs down as much as possible they should ensure they are move ready on the day of the move. All items should be packed in boxes, especially lamps, vases, and other odd shaped items. Put labels on boxes, for boxes from different rooms will get mixed up during the loading of the truck. The movers are trying to maximize the space on the truck. Put together a box that will have all your essential items that you want immediate access to such as internet modem or TV remote.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have done local (Apartment, Home, Town Home). Storage unit loading and unloading. Long distance to neighboring states. Commercial office moves both large and small. Unloading/loading of clients rented trucks and PODS.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Helping people trough a stressful event in their life. Moving is the 3rd most stressful event in life and providing help through this event is rewarding.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Movers go through a moving training program that teaches them proper way to protect your belongings during a move. We also team them up with experience movers to provide additional moving experience. We always ensure new movers are with experience movers during their training period prior.
