Nice people, and i give them kudos for moving my belongings down three stories in the summer heat, but they “pleasantly complained” a bit and shattered a bookshelf. They were apologetic though.

We had two outstanding man come to our house. Joseph and Geo were professional and insightful and worked very hard for a successful ending. They arrived on time and got to work immediately. I cannot recommend them highly enough.I would absolutely use them again if I need them.

They were an hour late. Too much in a hurry and not professional or concerned about the furniture. Loaded to many boxes at a time on the dolly. Just appeared to be in a hurry to get the job done. I would not use again or recommend. One damaged nightstand.

I needed a couple of guys to unload a 16 ft. shipping container, a relatively small job. New City Moving came through for me, and got the job done in fewer hours than I expected! The workers were personable, respectful and up to the task. Definitely can recommend New City Moving.

The two young guys that were send to us did an excellent job. They placed everything into the rooms we asked them to, and were even faster then the estimated time. Nothing was broken, and considering the high temperature, I was amazed at their energy levels. I called several times about the time we had expected the movers to arrive, the company even send a new team to keep our time frame when the original crew was held up at the previous job. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. Great customer service, highly dependable and super courteous. What more can you ask for? A+!

If I wrote this review a week ago it would have been much higher. The movers were pleasant and friendly. Very close to being on time but the did call to let me know that they were running a bit behind and it was not a problem.. A few days after my pod was 85% packed, I wanted to add some items. I opened the pod and was very disappointed in what I saw. My antique chaise lounge was not wrapped and a very heavy rocking chair was laying on top of it making indentations in the velvet. There was a wooden small round table, they saran wrapped the top and not the base and wedged it over a wheel chair, it would have broke once the pod was moved. My empty dog kennels were packed, I said they did not go.They packed a deflated football in a plastic crate, a med box with no top with about 50 water bottle tops.(I save them). I paid extra for "pod experts" thinking it would be done properly. So much of their packing made no sense. My friend and I (age 55 and 60) spent 3 hours repacking the pod. Very nice men but I wanted a pod packed not new friends. I had 32 moving blankets, I have 26 left. Some things were just packed as is, no plastic wrap, no blankets just put in pod, A child's rocking chair, over 80 years old, was just set on top of box, not wrapped or protected in any way. Very disappointed! I should have checked before tipping $40.00 a piece. I would think you should evaluate the training needed to be considered an "expert". Once again, very nice and pleasant, but that is not why I hired your company. I would like to be compensated for having to repack the pod. FYI, I had ample blankets and plenty of plastic wrap, both sizes,
