The guys came and went straight to work. I had the boxes labeled and they placed them exactly where I needed them to be! Fast, efficient, and careful! Not only that, they were very respectful and friendly. I highly recommend RJ movers!

It is so hard to believe these reviews are real; at 55 I can count on one hand how many times I gave a bad review and took the time to write. It. I had about 4 rooms of furniture and about 70 boxes with a 26 foot truck. I asked Reginald to follow me in my care and drive the truck back to my house that was less than 1/2 a mile. He took a different route and did not follow me back. He purposely went 1.5 miles out of the way to wind up back the same direction he was when he followed me. He is not from the area and I thought it was strange; the truck rpm ran high the whole time afterwards. It took three people, Reginald his wife and the other helper to do two- man job such as removing screws from a bed. I had to tell them to stop after 5 hours and 40 minutes, the job was not complete and the were slow. Reginald told me he thought it would take three additional hours to unload the furniture in a storage unit. I hired TWO guys from Craigs list and they unload the truck in 2.1 hours and I had them go to three units within the same storage area. So I paid these folks for the waisted time Reginald took with the truck and the breaks. They were extremely slow. I wound up paying almost 900$$ and the job WAS NOT DONE. OMG. With 5 witness I can confirm that they broke a piece of my Mahogany bed post off and did not tell me. I am a woman going through a divorce and I dealt with them by myself. I was taken advantage of. I will be disputing some of these charges. I was reminded by my helper who is my neighbor that they didn't take it off. I am very unhappy. I am out almost 2k dollars. My husband who was not here took almost half the time to deliver the furniture with set up.

RJ Movers arrived a few minutes earlier than the scheduled time, which worked out great since we were ready for some extra help unloading the UHaul. They brought 2 dolly’s and a small rolling bed to help with the bigger furniture. They were extremely mindful of the walls and corners when bringing up the furniture and other heavy items. Respectful and courteous the whole time, will absolutely use them again if we move.

The movers showed up on time and were very relaxed and helpful with my very unorganized mess during my move. They did an absolutely great job until the final item - the refrigerator. We mentioned when it was delivered the handles had been removed and they didn’t even try to remove the handles.
It then took them around 45 minutes to get it out of this house, damaging the wall corners, front door and hardwood floors and jamming it through the doorway. We are having to store it long term and are hoping it works when we get it back. When we asked about the damage they just said to contact hire-a-helper and really weren’t apologetic at all. And because they didn’t remove the handles we went over our allotted time and were charged an additional $50 for the half hour that wouldn’t have been charged had the handles been removed.
I hate to write this review because both gentlemen were very nice and did a great job before the final 45 minutes.
