While I was unhappy with the actual moving service, I was even more angry in the days following my move. The movers showed up an hour late, broke two picture frames and the leg of a table, and one box of kitchen items is missing. This, however, was nothing compared to an inability to speak with someone at MD Expert movers to try to at least get my last box delivered. They didn't return voicemails, didn't answer the phone and then were rude and unhelpful when I did reach them. I would never use them again and would recommend avoiding them at all costs.

I was really impressed with MD Expert Movers! They were prompt and very hard working. They unloaded my 14 ft Uhaul in less than two hours and even set up my bed and coffee tables for me. I would definitely use this company again!

MD Expert movers did a great job! Showed up on time, prepared for the job and ready to go. They worked hard to move all the furniture and pack it into the storage containers. They were respectful and careful with the property and goods, and I will most likely use them again. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because towards the end, the movers were less carefull with some of the items. Seems like the lamps and other smaller items were just put into the containers instead of being located properly. Also, the movers stopped wrapping up the items in the plastic wrap towards the end due to the rush to finish. So although the job started really well, and execution was good, it was not finished in the same quality that it began.

They were awesome! I have moved 5 times in the past 4 years and this was by far the best move I have ever had. They were polite, professional, helpful and very efficient! They were very careful with my furniture and put some of it together for me as well. I booked them for 6 hours as my previous moves have taken at least that long if not longer. It only took them 4 1/2 hours including a 1 hour drive time and they even jump started someone's car that wouldn't start! I can not say enough about Dominick and Kevin...they were the best movers and I will tell all of my friends to use their services!

Pros:
- HireAHelper and the MD Expert Movers dispatch were flawless: quick, easy to use, and communicated well.
- Price was reasonable for an insured service.
- Movers were careful, friendly, and quick.
- All furniture was left in good condition and moved to the proper place ahead of schedule.
Cons:
- Movers were 1/2 hour early, which sounds like a good thing, but can be a problem for people like me who needed time for last-minute prep.
- Movers didn't smell great, and left our apartment smelling a bit stinky afterward.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though.
