It's hard to believe these guys are real. They worked insanely hard and fast to get me out of my place in the 2 hour window. They were so kind to my barking dog who doesn't like strangers in our apartment. They helped me move my truck. They talked through every decision to come up with the best solution for my stuff. They came to WORK. On a day where stress levels are through the roof, they made everything easier. Great job guys.

Reginald and his partner far exceeded expectations I had a dumpster ordered that was a bit smaller than what it should have been. Reginald was able to deconstruct my furniture and strategically place all items in leaving some extra room both very professional , polite and most important respectful of my home while carefully removing the items that needed to be disgraced. A winning team.

Reginald and crew did a fantastic job. They arrived when they said they would, worked hard the entire time, took extra care with furniture and packed the POD without one inch of wasted space. It was a bitter cold and windy day and they worked so hard and never complained. Would definitely use the them again.

Mover's response:
Karen thank you for the awesome review! And thank both you and John for the guidance and help in planning as well as having everything prepared.

Reginald and his company should not be in business. I added 1 more
mover at my expense apon his request and they filled less than half of my PACKRAT container. Me and my 60 year old wife had to fill the rest of the container as it was shipping to Fla. the next day. I had to step out of the house and was not at home to sign off on the job, so Reginald pressured my 24 year old daughter to release his $315 which he and his helpers did not finish. They moved half of my bed, half of my wall
unit and never touched important items like our kitchen set and dining room set. Now I will have half of a bed and half wall unit arriving in Fla.
Maybe he should change the company name to Half-Ass movers! I intend to file suit with him & Hire a Helper. Gerald Manger Pa.

Mover's response:
Hi Gerald, thank you for hiring us to assist. You intended to hire 2 men for 2 hours to move 3 BRs, 1 LR, a Dining Room set (more on that later) and an office. I advised that 3 men would be better but it would likely require 3-4 hours. I'm not sure how many times you've moved, but we've been doing this for over a decade and we have over 800 reviews online that say we know what we're doing. I don't think that many people would lie about it. As for the move itself?I spoke to your wife the day before, we agreed on a 1-2pm arrival. We arrive at 2pm. Your wife, daughter, her friend and 3 guys greet us. Your wife walks us thru to show us everything to be moved. You come out of bathroom, we greet you, you completely ignore us and leave the house. We work diligently for two hours nonstop. The master BR was a King Bed, dresser, 2 night stands & 2 pc huge armoire. 200 ft from the BR upstairs to the container. 2nd BR, 2 dressers, night stands and queen bed, 150 ft and downstairs to the container. Tight narrow curved staircase. And everything required disassembly. Desk and daybed, upstairs, required disassembly. In the room downstairs, bookcase, 20 boxes, 6 speakers. Living room, 3 piece sectional sofa, 5 piece entertainment center with dual towers with glass doors, mid tv stand and top with light. Disassembled. Most of this was in the container when we left. Dining room set? 3 piece china cabinet with GLASS doors and a 6 person dining table with a glass top. Yet, you gave us 6 comforters and 50 feet of bubble wrap for EVERYTHING in the house. I advised your wife we could not safely load the dining room set into the unit with the supplies provided as we would be liable if damaged (check hire-a-helpers terms). Aside from the disassembly and moving everything into the unit and organizing everything SAFELY, we filled the unit 60% within the time provided. I advised your wife at 1.5 hours that we had 30 minutes left and if she wanted us to stay longer, you would need to come back to the house and authorize additional hours. She said do what you can and stop at 2 hours. In the 2 hours, we loaded the following into the container: the 2 pc armoire, the master dresser and mirror, the queen bed, the two dressers, the bookshelf, one column from the tv stand, all the boxes, a wooden bench, two chest of drawers, 1/3 of the sofa (which we were told was the only piece going), 6 speakers, the split box springs and mattress. Your wife and daughter asked how they could release the payment. I then instructed her how to release the payment. Your wife started to release it then passed the phone to your daughter who called and released it. How exactly would we PRESSURE someone into releasing a payment? Especially if we are all working? We finished, your wife and daughter released the payment and TIPPED us. Why would she tip us if we hadn't worked as expected? Had you answered her calls or came back home, we could have discussed staying longer and finishing. However, we cannot and will not stay when you are rude to our staff, disappear and act as though you don't want to release the original payment. We are professionals and we do not work for free. If you needed us to come back and finish, all you had to do was call. I explained this to your wife before we left. Honestly, I wish we could have completed the job as we typically do, however, given the situation, we were uncertain that the hours would be paid for if we stayed longer to complete the job. Also, we could not complete the job without the proper supplies. There's no way we can load a glass table and dining set into a PackRat container without blankets, bubble wrap and boxes and send it from PA to FL confidently. My apologies but that isn't how we do business.
