As we used your service in Maryland on the front end of our move, we were confident that the wonderful experience and superior efficacy would be repeated in Colorado. This was not the case. The owner of 24 Hour Moving was one of the two on site for my move. (I discovered this later). I wish to share with you the many, many incidents that occurred during the move. Each of these individually made for a unacceptable experience but together explain my reasons for sharing you cease your business relationship with this company.
1) Movers arrived late. 8:10 am
2) The owner began complaining that the apt was on the 3rd level. He researched our request in which he found that it was disclosed previously and the additional charge was assessed.
3) Movers arrived without face masks. (State mandated) Both were instructed to go back and get masks.
4) When returning at 8:20 am, the owner began to share his personal opinions that masks do not work and that it was useless. My daughter shared she still needed them to wear them.
5) My daughter returned upstairs to inform me of this interaction. She was crying and furious at this unprofessional interaction. (2 of the 3 of us are high risk and take the law and mandate for our safety as priority)
6) Movers made the first load at 8:30 am. When the owner arrived with first load, I shared that I was aware of the interaction, told him that it is inappropriate, and told him to just do his job.
7) After viewing their slow pace and only carrying one box at a time or jointly carrying pieces of furniture that were not heavy, I shared that we have a dolly in the truck to increase their pace. Their response was that they were faster carrying boxes themselves.
8) Several times the owner called on his phone to his wife to research our request.
9) Masks would be taken off outside walking then they would put the box down outside the door to put back on their mask to enter the apt. This took enormous amount of double time.
10) At 9:55 am, the owner shared that they were originally scheduled to end at 10:00 and were not done. Ask if I would pay for more time. I shared no. I shared finish the job. He said he would not work for free. I shared I would not be paying more. He stated that he would be stopping at 10:00. I stated get up all of the furniture first. He left.
11) He returned empty handed and stated that it is 10:00 and he wanted me to release his funds for payment. I stated I would not be doing this until I call your company. He said he would not leave the premises. I said fine, wait downstairs. He said he would be calling the sherriff. I said fine.
12) He went downstairs and then threatened my daughter of calling the police because of me. He instructed the other worker to drop the box he had and not do anything more. This worker did drop on a grassy area.
13) While he was downstairs, I did release payment and felt pressured to do so.
14) When they left, they left an empty Coke bottle on the grass.
The entire interactions throughout the day seemed very purposeful. He definately was gaging his slow pace for additional monies. We know this to be true as the packing of this truck only took 1 hour 20 minutes in Maryland. My daughter has moved using these moving services prior and always finished well before the 2 hours (even from another 3rd floor level) After the movers left, I had to call others to help support finishing the unloading of truck. They left 1/3 of the load.

Both helpers went about and beyond expectations. They moved me on the hottest day of the year, it was 100 degrees that day, and they never once were anything other than professionals. I would definitely use this service again.
