Garred and Cam were the absolute best.
Cam carefully Jenga'd all of our many and various sized boxes into one container. It was full from top to bottom.
Even more impressive, the second container had furniture, accessories and lots of very odd shaped miscellaneous type things. All of that was very carefully loaded and secured in the container. Again up to the top of the container and using all of the appropriate padding and tie downs.
Everything was loaded with care.
Garred was an absolute machine and kind to boot! He carried the majority of the items from the house and staged them for loading so that Cam had the right size, shape and weight of items to pack.
We have three very annoying animals who will trail everybody around and Garred treated them like little family members.
Both of these hard working young men were intelligent, kind, thoughtful, positive and cheerful - just an absolute joy to be around.

Second mover never showed so had to do a lot of the work ourselves. Go with another company.

To start with, the two gentlemen were very kind and professional so I want to say that up front. They handled my property with care when moving it out of the house and into the POD. They also showed up on time and worked hard for the time they were there.
The reasons I’m only giving 3 stars are:
1. I had called a fews days ahead of time to ask if they would be providing plastic wrap and was told yes. I would have been happy to get it myself but didn’t want to if i didn’t have to, so i left it to them. Then they showed up without it. They had to go to Lowes to get it which added about a half hour of time, and then I was billed extra for that time.
2. I had about 15 ratchet straps available for them to use and they only used about 4-5. After they left I noticed several pieces of furniture were not strapped in at all. I ended up strapping things down myself after they left and I’m grateful I noticed that before the POD was moved to transit!

Great communication, professional movers, on time service and a stress free moving experience.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Avalanche will be prepared with the blankets wrap and protective items needed to protect your items. We will be on time and finish your job in a timely manner.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Have everything off the items we are moving. Make sure all your boxes are ready to load. Clear off all items off of all the furniture that we are moving.
What types of moves have you handled?
Local, in state long distance , offices, short distance, within the same complex.

Knowing we made a potential stressful move into a more pleasant experience.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All new movers are trained in how to properly load a truck, carry heavy items and protect customers valuables. They will be trained in the field along side of an experienced crew members.
