The helpers arrived early and got right to work. The two young men were very polite and patient, and had my truck loaded and unloaded in no time. I would highly recommend them again.

The service provided me with 2 young nice men. Not really professional in the area of moving. They were a bit unorganized. A 60 year old buffet that was in outstanding condition, was scratched. Because the metal bed frames were packed standing up, instead of laying down. Once the truck moved. The frames fell down, and scratched the buffet ??. And still gave them a tip.

The two young men were on time and very cordial. They worked with me to place items where we wanted them. They apparently were not advised they had to take the bed apart but we fortunately were able to borrow tools from the apt engineer. I would definitely use Hire A Helper again, I think it’s a great concept. My only complaint is that I did not hear directly from the assigned company until I complained to Customer Service a day before; even after making 2 or 3 calls and leaving a message. And I never received the requested certificate of insurance. After saying all that, if I get the same young men, I would definitely use “You Call We Haul” Again.

The two man crew did a great job. Efficient, polite and helpful. My family was skeptical that it would all fit in the truck that the truck rental company had recommended but the crew from You Call We Haul LLC did a great job fitting it all safely. A big thank you from my family and me. If we were moving again in Baltimore area would have definitely called this company.

Several items damaged in transit or during loading. Sofa was loaded upside down instead of on its feet ( this ripped the cloth). Wood furniture was dented from hitting doorways and/or loaded on its side, again without using moving blanket. Mattress box spring was mostly destroyed from finding of box trucks wood floor.
Most of the supplied moving blankets were not used and stacked in the corner of the box truck.
Please use supplied moving blankets to prevent damaging expensive items!!

The guys called when they were on their way. They actually arrived early. They brought what I had asked for, muscle and a thought a process of how to achieve the move in a short period of time. We accomplished it, the boxes were stacked and nothing was too much trouble for them to do. We moved furniture around, put stuff in the attic, re arranged areas to gain access. The move went off well. I would use them again. Very nice, polite, strong big guys.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Expect a phone call from the field manager within 24 hours of booking job. Our managers should ask the following questions. Do you need assembly or disassembly? do you need help with organization or packing? what items do you think we need for a dolly? how many stairs are in this move? and is there anything that you are worried about specifically in this move (any fragile items)
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
how ever many helpers the booked to show up in a timely manner and call ahead of the job they will be prepared, equipped & ready to work! Packing a truck so nothing moves or breaks along with making sure the customer is satisfied with our services. We do ask the client to let us do our job, we understand it can be a stressful experience but we are here to help and treat your belongings as our own.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure everything is boxed up and organized in a orderly fashion. Have a list for our movers to organize accordingly.
What types of moves have you handled?
We do anything from local moves, to cross country moves. Personally we have covered over 50 across state line moves along with over 500 in state moves ( within states we are located in 100 mile radius ) . We are not only a labor moving company but a full service moving company that provides the most cost efficient and top notch quality service. We move anything from offices , to houses, we also do market ready clean outs ( junk removals ) and we provide discounts to our military clients!
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Not only is it amazing exercise but it gives me and my movers a chance to expand their minds and play Tetris in a way while packing and unpacking a truck/and or storage unit while working moving jobs. While working junk removal jobs it is a definite work out and way to release stress and built up tension.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We first teach them how to pack a truck, securing boxes making sure they don't crush/break anything, we teach them how to maneuver doorways without scratching the frame, we provide the best training of communication which is a major thing in this industry that alot of moving companies do not have, talking to your crew member making sure they are ok and can lift the item they are needing assistance with, We provide professionalism by staying off of our phones and focusing solely on the client

We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
