After having a no show with another company, Hire a Helper contacted, "The Hard Body Haulers". I get that it was last minute emergent situation but the nightmare continued with these guys. They sent two guys and packed the truck, it was a 17 foot truck and should've easily fit what I had in one load but they were young and I assumed a little inexperienced. Anyway the first load was packed and they were supposed to follow me, they went to the wrong address and then got lost trying to get back. By this time the one decided he didn't want to do the job and had the other one drop him back off to his car and he left. I contacted the boss and told him what happened. He said another guy would show up. Meanwhile, I started unloading what I could. The guy that stayed showed up, he and my son started moving the items into the apartment. I kept calling, The Hard Body Haulers" asking where the other person was. We did three trips and on the last trip, which was 10:30 pm, the other guy shows up. When the job was done, the boss demanded that I call Hire a Helper right away, to make sure they credited the job to them. I called but was only able to leave a message as his crew was only getting the same result when the called, Hire a Helper line. It was 11:00 pm and he was telling me I was doing it wrong and that I "had" to do this tonight. I finally told him that it's after 11:00, I have to turn the truck in, and that I wasn't standing outside all night to have the same response from the automated line at Hire a Helper. They were closed! He said that he would have Hire a Helper call me in a few minutes, I said you do that. I hung up and they didn't call. I will say undoubtedly, the first guy that stayed worked his butt off and did a great job.Talk about a mess, it started with the foul up with A Little Help Moving Company not showing up and ended with this company's workers leaving or not showing up on time. I will never hire either company again, hopefully I won't have to move any time soon!

We charge an extra 20% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 1 hour over the prebooked time.
