Dependable? Well, I guess if you mean they show up, even if 3 hours late.
If you have any plans for being organized, services provided as you planned or intended, or following a schedule, do not hire this crew. We hired two laborers for 4 hours who were supposed to arrive between 11am and 12pm.
The company advised us in advance they would be coming from a town about an hour away, so they may not be there by 11am, but for sure would be there by 12. We had a moving truck rented for a set time to correspond with the time we had expected the laborers. They didn't show up until after 2:30pm leaving us with precious little time to implement our plans.
The crew did call around noon and said they were "lost" and should be there within 45 minutes and would bring one extra guy. We had to start loading the truck ourselves - moving our most heavy items first, by ourselves (so in hindsight, there really WAS no reason for them to come at that point). When they finally arrived, there were 5 laborers.
While the additional laborers did help the job complete faster, it was impossible to do it in an organized fashion or the way in which we intended. We're still, weeks later trying to undo damage. We couldn't keep track of all the laborers and they were just doing whatever stuff they thought, regardless of what we had planned for them to do. They made it chaotic and it was very sloppy. For instance, they would put a "HEAVY" marked box on top of another box marked "FRAGILE". We had to pay an additional day of the rental truck - an unnecessary expense we had not planned for because of their lateness.
At the end of the day, we paid them since the job was done and we gave the laborers a tip since they hustled, but I tell you what, it was the absolute WORST quality job possible. Just because it got done, doesn't mean it was done right or the way we had planned for. I would NEVER use this group again for anything.
