I have never left a bad review before, but I just have to let people know what I have experienced with this company.
I schedule for them to come between 8 to 9 thru Hire A Helper website. The Ready Set Movers called me a night before if they can come at 10;00. I agreed thinking it’s no big deal… Boy! Was I wrong. We waited 20 min after 10:00… No show and I called to see where they are…, no answer. Left a message to their answering machine to call me back… No call! I waited another 30 minutes and left another message..., so I called Hire A Helper to see if they can reach out to them… No success. After almost 4 hours later, Hire A Helper provided me with another company to help us. I don’t know what their business ethics are, but it seems they are okay with to ignore customers. At least they could do is to call and let us know what is going on instead of having us wait for nothing…
I would highly recommend to hire somebody else if you want to keep your sanity.

Outstanding company!!! They came early with everything we requested and Highly Professional ~ our move was new in the State and during the Holidays, they stayed in touch through out and it was effortless! They placed everything exactly where we needed it and had helpful suggestions as well . They were extremely cautious and careful with our furniture. They put everything together we needed as well...I simply can't say enough Great things about them !!! Simply a Five Star Experience!!!

I cannot recommend this company based on my experience. I had requested four workers for three hours. Only three workers showed up during the loading effort. The first two workers were two hours late, and the third worker was two and a half hours late. During the day I learned that the workers responded to a Craigs List add for work. It does not appear that the company has a sufficiently staffed labor force, or, possibly, an independent labor force and relies on gig workers. While the workers were pleasant, 2 of the 3 did not possess the knowledge or skillset that is necessary for properly packing and securing items within a moving trailer. I, my neighbor and my father-in-law did all of of the load securing, at times while the workers took breaks and awaited instruction on next steps. While the company stated that I could purchase additional hours at the end of my schedule time, when that time approached, two of the three workers informed that that they had to leave for another job, and then requested a tip. They eventually returned 15 minutes later when the other job cancelled. Once they had assisted with the heavy items, I cut them loose, and spent the next 4 hours finishing the job myself. My contact at the company, Troy, who I had spoken to during the day, and was aware of my dissatisfaction, called me at 8PM to request payment. I asked him to invoice me. To quote him, "Just send the payment and you never have to hear from me again." I suspect cashflow problems. The next day I found cigarette butts, water bottles and oil stains on my driveway from the workers. Reflecting on the experience, it was disorganized, unprofessional and in need of business leadership. I cannot recommend and would not use again.
