Tay and his team were a little late but they did a wonderful job overall. I asked them to load a large POD container for a move and knowing that all my stuff would not fit, they did an amazing job getting the most of our POD. I would definitely recommend them for another move.

After booking, you will receive an email that provides the phone number for 5-Star Moving. We do our very best to call clients within 48 hours. However, during the busy season sometimes it’s best to contact us if you want to go over your move details!
The movers will always call the day of your move if we are running at all behind, if you don’t hear from us this is usually a good sign, it means we are on track so try not to stress!
Having items well boxes is the #1 time saver and a sure way to keep your bill as low as possible. If you have 1 container, expect the move to take 2 to 3 hours. If you have 2 containers expect the move to take 4 to 6 hours. Remember - lamps, lamp shades, and small items should be boxed if you want them to arrive safely to your destination. Small items in general can increase the move time by double so having all these items in boxes really does help. Buy plastic wrap, straps and blankets for us.
We on an average load of 60+ containers/month. Meaning our movers are extremely versed in the art of PODS loading. We also do truck work and have been in the moving industry for over 10 years. Some of our veteran loaders have been in the industry for 20+ years. Whoever shows up, rest assured you’re in good hands.
Our favorite part of being a mover is the satisfaction of a job done right. We see every day poorly loaded rental trucks and POD containers, we also see the frustration from those clients who have poor experiences. We love when the client is watching with his/her eyes wide open while we wrap their valued belongings.
All of our team members are carefully trained. They all know and understand the price of furniture and the value. Because of this, they take extra caution when loading your items. They also expect to have the right materials to do their job properly, this is why it’s important for you, the client, to always have the 3 essentials - plastic wrap, blankets and ratchet straps (NOT ROPE!).
We charge an extra 15% for same day requests.
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
We do not refund for any unused time.
We can always stay at least 1 hour over the prebooked time.
