We are here to ensure your next move is your best move! The owner, Anthony Sitter, is a former Marine Corps Officer and graduate of the United States Naval Academy. Anthony moved around quite a bit during his time in the military (literally all over the world) and felt he could better serve customers from a place of understanding the stresses involved. What a great team. On time, polite, careful and boy can they work. The team of three worked so hard to pack our POD to get everything in and make it safe for the transport to Florida from CA. Anthony, Andrew and Nick went out of their way to make it all go smooth. It was fun just watching them work together to fit all our stuff into the POD. If you would like the best team and not have to worry about loading your POD, I strongly suggest you hire Anthony Sitter’s Moving. You will be glad you did!

I do not ever write reviews but in this case I feel compelled to do so. I moved the contents of a 1 bed, 1 bath apartment from the east coast to San Diego using a Packrat container. The laborers I hired on the east coast damaged my heavy wood chest and were careless with several items. Thus, I was leery of using Hire A Helper again but Sitter’s Movers had such great reviews that I booked them.
Let me just say that they’ve earned their great reviews because they were AWESOME! Anthony and Nick emptied my moving container in under 2 hours. They carefully carried the heavy wood chest with moving straps that the movers on the east coast couldn’t. Nothing was damaged or even made contact with a wall. They constantly communicated with each other while carrying my items upstairs to ensure no damage. Since there was some time left on my booking, they removed the moving blankets and plastic wrap from all of my furniture, set up my TV, etc. They even folded the moving blankets, put them in the garage, and carried empty boxes to the trash.
In sum, I honestly feel like they handled my possessions with the same care in which they would handle their own. They couldn’t have done a better job and suffice it to say there is a 100% chance I would use them again.

Anthony and Nick were OUTSTANDING!!! They were on-time (even arrived a little early and asked if they could start early). They were prepared and went far and beyond when they strategized with us in figuring out solutions for fitting in the washer and dryer. What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We will contact you via text and email within 24 hours of booking your order to acknowledge receipt and introduce ourselves. We will also call you two business days prior to the move to discuss the details of your move and answer any questions and/or instructions you have for us. You are welcome to reach out to us as much as you like to!
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We will be on time. To be early is to be on time and our guys aim to arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time to perform a walk through with you.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
We will send you an email within 24 hours after booking a move with the best recommendations we have learned to offer over the many years we have been moving professionally.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have not seen it all (not sure that's possible). But we have seen a lot: tiny moves, entire furnished apartments buildings completely changed out, junk removal, billionaires with high-end homes, professional athletes, homeless (hey, they have stuff too and sometimes, ya just gotta help somebody), office moves, cross-country, international...the list goes on.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
I started doing this because I wanted to get paid to work out. I'm still doing this because I find tremendous joy in serving people in a part of life that is often pretty stressful. It's very satisfying to tangibly see the work you've accomplished for someone else. Meeting new people, spending a lot of the day outside, seeing new parts of town are all pretty cool too :)
What training do you provide your crew members?
All of our crew are background checked and carefully screened. A crew member is required to have a minimum of 40 hours of on-the-job training prior to working for our customers.

We charge an extra 20% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 2 hours over the prebooked time.
