The men who moved me were very nice and were fast and were great with communication....they showed up for the most part on time and worked until the job was done, about two hours...
However...when I started to unpack my things, that's when things turned into a nightmare. I felt they were dishonest in their packing ability...the mover insisted on packing the container...I found that the amount of shipping pads that were used, were used for the dumbest things and not the items that were supposed to be protected...saw him throwing things on top because he was too short to place them on top of the pile.... I had to ask him not to do that....I have a few pieces of antique furniture and now I have huge dents, gouges on two of the pieces of furniture and a broken antique dresser....The mover placed my containers of heavy fabric...a few hundred pounds....( I had 6 containers of fabric, about 50+ pounds each)...all 6 containers were packed ON TOP of my ornate Victorian dresser that is over 100 years old... (I wish I could include a picture)...the 2 top pieces of the dresser are completely broken off as well as some of the interior bracing was broken completely off because the heavy fabric was placed on top....I have 2 other pieces of antique furniture that have gouges and scratches on them because they weren't wrapped correctly, he had both pads and plastic wrap, that should have been enough, it always has in the past......between the gouges and scratches and the repair work to my dresser it will cost me hundreds to have them restored...I asked the movers to place the boxes I had packed in the order they were found because I placed the heavier ones at the bottom....they did NOT listen at all, I found them in the opposite order with the heaviest on the top.....I have pictures of all the damage, I'm completely sick over the whole move.... I even asked the mover to wrap the antique furniture and not to wrap things that were not that important, hence a shelving unit from IKEA....I even told him the pieces I wanted wrapped...I also caught one of the movers wrapping a shelf .....just a piece of wood with 3 pads, he was charging me $2.50 a pad...$60.00 in pads, I wish he would have listened to me...I have moved over 15 times in my adult life and told him exactly how many pads were needed and what they were for....I felt he was just trying to up charge me...I was also not informed that he was going to charge me for tape and rope....charged full price for his supplies and then didn't leave what was left over even though I paid for it.....plus they left garbage all over the ground and container......I would have liked to have been able to recommend this company, however in good conscious that is not possible...

After sorting out scheduling problems with the Pods people and Ledoux, they showed up almost on time the day after Thanksgiving in 15 degree weather and a few inches of snow. Finished the job in 2 hours, were pleasant and courteous. It was smooth sailing. I would recommend this company!!

They were very flexible when 7 inches of snow fell overnight and we needed to delay their start time by 4 hours. Still got the job done same day so no issues to delay our departure. The gentlemen were very careful and helpful. I would definitely recommend them.
