The Moving Guides were GREAT. They were able to get a very short job done on very short notice when another company failed to show up or call. I was very impressed with this company. They arrived within 30 minutes of the quoted time and were done within 20 minutes. They were able to get an extremely heavy front loading washer and dryer up a flight of stairs with very little room on the either side without so much as a scratch to the wall or banister. I was extremely pleased and would definitely recommend them again.

Let me revise this to say I had lots of problems with their service. To start they were close to four hours late and only showed up when I threatened to call HireAHelper for a new service. The excuses for being late were many, car trouble, no cabs available, waiting for a mechanic although I offered to go pick the workers up. They finally showed up asking way too many questions and creeping me out. After all of my issues with the Moving Guides they offered to refund part of my fee and said that the check would arrive within a couple weeks. After two weeks no check, so I called to ask what had happened and they said they lost my address so I gave it to them and a week later no check so I called back to see if they had mailed it. Again a week later no check so I called back to ask where it was and after threatening to report them to the Better Business Bureau they said I would have a check within the week. Finally, two days later I had a check. I did get service but only after much hassle and headache. I will never use them again and would never recommend them to anyone unless they like drama and hassle.

These guys showed up on time and brought everything they would need with them. They worked very hard and somehow stayed cheerful the whole time. They took good care of my things and got the job done as quickly as was safely possible. I'm a single female who is new to the area, so you can imagine how apprehensive I was about hiring men to come into my home and handle everything I own. Having said that, I can confidently state that I would definitely hire them again and would recommend them to anyone.
