The owner was very very rude. Told me he was not paying his employee who got sick on the carpet. they had to leave because the one was sick and didn't finish job. The owner told me it was dirt and he wasn't cleaning the sickness on the new carpet. He also said he would go to walmart and get a new rod what is it $5! He was rude and all of it was uncalled for...

Eric and Spencer were the best helping hand I ever had. They not only showed up on time , but also appraised me of their arrival time way before their expected time. They knew what they are doing and got into action as soon as got there. Finished their work on time as I had to leave right after the promised finish time. They were courteous and respected my stuffs as their own. I would hire them again in heart beat.

Even though I hired them with the understanding that the two-hour moving time would be extended, the crew refused to give me any more than two hours. The reason? They thought my furniture was "too expensive", and didn't want to continue due to the insurance liability they might incur. The crew I hired off Angie's List to replace them accomplished twice as much as they did in the same two hour period. To make matters worse, Hire a Helper was unable to come up with a replacement crew during the time frame I required (roughly one week).
I will not be using Hire a Helper in the future...they just didn't come through when I needed them. As for All around Movers, don't hire them unless you know up front exactly how long for which you'll need them. And, don't hire them if you have nice furniture...for some reason they're afraid of the nice stuff.

We used HireAHelper to help load and unload our moving truck. They were phenomenal! No broken furniture legs, not dings on our walls - they worked steadily for the entire two hours they were here - we had to encourage them to take water and a break, as it was beastly hot. We will definitely be using them again, and recommending this site to all our friends.

WORKERS WERE SCHEDULED FOR 8AM - 9 AM . THEY CALLED TO SAY THEYN WOULDM BE THERE AT 10AM. ARRIVALWAS 10:30AM. THEY WERE THE HARDEST WORKERS i EVER SAW, VERY RESPECTFUL.
MY PROBLEM THEY WERE WORKING TOO FAST AND FORGOT THE WASH AND DRYER. WE DID NOT STACK THE FURNITURE HIGH ENOUGH TO SAFE SPACE FOR THE WASHER AND DRYER. AFTER THE TRUCK WAS LOADED I DISCOVERED THE WASH & DRYER WERE NOT LOADED. THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T HELP ME WITH THAT. THEY DID SAY I NEED MORE BLANKETS. MY REAL PROBLEM IS I WILL NOW HAVE TO PAY FOR TWO TRUCKS AND ET AN ADDITIONAL $295 PER MONTH IN STORAGE. I DO NOT YET KNOW THE COST OF THE EXTRA TRUCK. i' M USING OLD DOMINION TRUCKING. NO I WOULD NOT USE THEM AGAIN.

The two guys were GREAT !! I would recommend them highly. They were respectful of our belongings and worked very hard to get the job done.

Were they on time? No. This was my only issue with these guys.
They were prepared enough, but more importantly, they busted their asses, they didn't break anything and they were fast.

The team arrived on time, handled our furniture and boxes with care. They were friendly and courteous. Did a great job cleaning up and folding the padding when the job was done. I will definitely recommend them and use them in the future.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We send out a text to every customer (it may take a day or so but you will receive it before your move) it requires them answer each question as it’s very important! If we don’t immediately reach out to you please don’t get worried, we stay busy and it’s our promise to get every customer taken care of with with the respect and full attention on the items they cherish. If we can’t get to the phone if you call, plz respect that we are giving a customer our full attention as we will give you on your move day!
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Passion for what we do! A crew that will handle their belongings as if it were their grandmothers prized possessions, respect, trustworthy men that move really fast and the knowledge to get the job done and take every stress off the customers back!
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Have labeled boxes is a plus, everything packed and ready to be loaded, make sure we have a clear walkway to and from the truck (it’s a hazard and danger to your belongings and to the crew members), please trust we know how to load a truck and no instructions are appreciated.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The smile and comfort we see after a job is complete the stress just melts from the once tense customer to now a moved, loaded, or unloaded happy customer! Our number one goal is satisfaction and we strive everyday to make every customer feel this way
What training do you provide your crew members?
We have an in hand in the field training. We always bring a new guy of course he is an extra guy the customer does not pay for but what better way to train a man, you can’t teach moving you have to experience it. And to be a great mover you have to have passion and again you can’t teach passion you either have it or you don’t! We can’t see or know unless we put them inside the field!
