Let our teams of professional movers come out and service you today. Here are a list of services that we provide. Local/long distance moves, Moving labor helpers, Rearrange, and Assemble/ disassemble. _____________________________ Terms and Conditions Two Hour Minimum Required With Every Move. Phone Estimates – It is important to be as accurate as possible when providing an Item List. Your Estimate is based on the Item List that you, the customer provide. We use this Item List to determine how many men and how many hours your job will take. This helps us with setting up our schedule and enables us to give you an accurate Estimate. The Estimate is based on your home being packed and ready to move. Adding a significant number of items to your move after you have given us an Item List will increase the time required for your move, thus, the Cost for your move will increase. Elevators – Be sure to contact your Building Supervisor to reserve the elevator and have it padded for the day of your move. Also, note any time restrictions that might apply. Press wood/Pressboard – Any Kind of furniture that is made out of this material will have very limited to no value as far as liability of the company. The #1 Frugal Movers Company will not disassemble or reassemble furniture made of this material. Should you choose to disassemble your furniture, we will move the pieces and will not reassemble upon delivery. What is Not Covered – Exclusions Understanding the exclusions list will help you prepare better for your move. In addition to the list, we have also provided additional information for each item to help you understand why the items are excluded. Any items were packed by the customer and not by our movers cannot be covered. Why: We cannot be sure how the box, crate or bin was packed correctly. Further, many boxes are used several times and their structure many not be adequate to prevent damage. Any furniture items when no furniture pads are used for protection (based on customer refusal). Why: Hiring professional movers is not our only concern. Furniture pads are extremely important in ensuring that your items are packed safely for transport; (Special Care Items), including glass tops and mirrors or high value items without proper packing and preparation. Why: The best example of these are (Plasma) and (LCD TV’s). These items must be crated or packed in original boxes before shipment. We will not move special care items without packing or crating properly. Clay Pots will not be covered under any circumstances. Should you require the #1 Frugal Movers to move clay pots, full or empty, we will do our best to move them in a safe manner, but being that they may have a crack going through unseen; every bump on the road could cause a breakage. Therefore, we will not be held responsible for any kind of planters/ pots made of clay, porcelain, ceramic or glass. What is covered: Despite the long list of exclusions and limitations; we do cover items that we knowingly or without dispute damage. Released Valuation Coverage is provided on all items dropped or damages on site while in the possession of our movers, assuming they do not meet any of the exclusions above. Damages- At the beginning of every move, the foreman will do a walk-through with you, the customer, and advise you of the wrapping/packing option and cost to protect your belongings during the move. Should you choose to not use our protective services, and sign a release of liability, the #1 Frugal Movers: Will NOT be held liable/ cover/ reimburse you for any damage that may occur because of your refusal to use our wrapping/packing services. Although our movers will be as careful as possible, from time to time damages may occur. If there is damage, notify your movers immediately. Damages must be noted on your contract. If you discover damages after the move, call the office within 5 days of your move. No damage claims will be honored until the charges for moving services have been paid in full. Damages caused while loading or unloading your truck or storage unit: Frugal Movers Company, is only responsible for items in our immediate care, custody, and control. Goods not to be submitted for removal or storage - 1 Frugal Movers will not transport or handle the following items; the following are specifically excluded from this contract. (a) Jewelry, watches, trinkets, precious stones or metals, money, deeds, securities, stamps, coins, or goods or collections of any similar kind. (b) Prohibited or stolen goods, drugs, potentially dangerous, damaging or explosive items, including gas bottles, aerosols, paints, firearms and ammunition. (c) Plants or goods likely to encourage vermin or other pests or to cause infestation. (d) Refrigerated or frozen food or drink. (e) Goods which require special license or government permission for export or import. Such goods will not be removed by us except with our prior written agreement. In the event that we do remove such goods, we will not accept liability for loss or damage wholly or mainly attributable to the special nature of the goods concerned. If you submit such goods without our knowledge and prior written agreement we will not be liable for any loss or damages.

I would like to make the following suggestions to help improve business: Call customers if there is some issue with arriving at the agreed to time. Most customers will understand and it goes a long way to building a professional relationship with customers. If a customer calls to inquire about when a helper will arrive, have a person who is willing to look into what may be causing the delay, take these types of calls. Let the customer know if the helpers are behind schedule due to a previous job or jobs. Be willing to give a complete or partial refund if the time of arrival is after the agreed upon time (based on how much time after). With that being said the two young men that showed up were polite and the work was completed as promised.

The team from frugal movers worked hard and efficiently moved my stuff! While they were about 30 minutes late, I was able to keep in contact with the main office and never felt that they were not coming. They were friendly and pleasant and had all the necessary equipment to move my stuff. I felt they respected my property being moved and the townhouse. They did the job in less time than expected which made their tardiness a minor blip in my moving day. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

We were so excited to hire help to move. Not only did this company no show, but they actually called and confirmed the location and start time that morning. Then, at 8:30 pm they called to say they got tied up on another job and we're sorry. Finally, the owner called the next morning and said they never got a work order from us. But how would he call and confirm that morning and then call that night and profusely apologize for not coming on time? Hmm... Sounds like someone is lying. I think had they just called at our start time and said they were gonna be late I would have been understanding and we could have done some shifting around. I get it. People are stressed when they are moving. I find lying to cover a lapse of integrity more harmful than the actual no show. Buyer beware. All the conversations were nice. They seem nice. But when you have a schedule and money on the line, you may want to use a company with integrity.

Mr. Pruitt, im truly sorry for the inconvenience this situation have cost you, and your family. I never lied to you once, I was only telling you what was told to me by the two now, ex-employees. I did get to the bottom of it and the guys did grab the wrong order, but made no one aware of the mix up. I would like to offer you 3 free hours of our service to give you a true! Frugal Movers experience without the incompetents of the two now, ex-employees. Please except my deepest apologises. James

So I'm moving from Atlanta to Seattle and had to relocate our stuff through Estes SureMove and needed helpers to do the packing in the trailer, Frugal Movers came to my rescue and did the job on time, efficiently with all the equipment necessary (I am already in Seattle but my niece supervised the loading and skyped with me throughout the process). I highly recommend them to whoever needs moving labor help, very polite, respectful and hard-working! Thanks guys!

I was so pleased that I was able to get any moving team on the same day as my request, but thrilled with the team from Frugal Movers and the price!
