Major Problem After the MOVE. Helpers did not want us to claim the extra hours they stayed to help but wanted us to pay them cash after the move and not go through the HireAHelpers automated site. We had originally requested 3 helpers for 2 hours. They only sent 2 we ended up needing them 3 hours beyond the original 2 hours. When I responded to HireAHelper about the fact that we had used them for a total of 5 hours, the helpers became very upset about the amount of money they were going to receive from their company and wanted cash. We hired a service to avoid this sort of problem. We explained that we had already reported the over hours to the company and this evidently made them very angry. Within 1/2 hour after our move was completed they claimed that we had several items over 800 pounds!!! Which was crazy. I had to pull up all of the specs on the large items we had showing the items and the manufacturer provided weights. Nothing they moved was even over 400 pounds and that item was already strapped to an appliance dolly and only needed to be moved down the ramp and into a storage unit. They did a very good job with the actual move, the only problem occurred after when they were unhappy that we had honestly and accurately reported the additional hours to their company rather than giving them cash. Be wary of this company if this is the practice of their employees. NO WE WOULD NOT USE GRADE A MOVERS AGAIN. BUT HIGHERAHELPER was great in getting the situation fixed. I would recommend HIGHERAHELPER, it was a great help in finding helpers in a new city.

They were on time, friendly and extremely hardworking. They took special care with the fragile items and still finished 3 hrs ahead of schedule. The owner Romaine was fantastic and I would definitely use them again.

We used them to move large items from basement to the garage. They were on time and moved all items in the 2 hour window time. Yes we will hire them again.

We were expecting two men and instead we got one man and a young boy who could barely lift 30 pounds. I had to help with most of the heavy lifting and the young guy had to be constantly coached. I feel we were definitely over charged for the service we received and I probably will not use this service again. I most assuredly will not recommend this service to others. I am expecting to see some sort of credit on my credit card as recompense for the sub-adequate service. Otherwise... everything was OK. LOL
