The three person crew who helped us move did an excellent job. They were on time, respectful of our things, polite and fun, even while working extremely hard. They were so fast at both packing and unpacking. We highly recommend them and would definitely use them again--if we ever move, that is.

I booked Dave's Moving Service and was not informed I needed to purchase rope to tie down my belongings in transit. As a novice mover I was unaware I needed the rope. Dave's Moving Service tied NOTHING down and never asked me to go purchase rope to keep my shipment safe. Dave did ask me to go purchase more boxes to pack the kitchen, of which they didn't need and it took more time, which cost more money, however he NEVER asked me to purchase rope to tie down the shipment. All of my belongings shifted in transit with many things broken and a huge chunk of wood was broken off my dresser. In addition, I paid the crew to pack my kitchen and they did a TERRIBLE job. These are not professional packers or movers.

I have to say I was pretty impressed. They were early for our appointment. They busted their behinds once there and they wasted no time in getting the job done. Were they perfect? No. My brand new dining room table top ended up with some scratches. Not happy, but nothing that can't be fixed. Freshly painted walls in the new house got scuffed in places, but that too can be remedied. Overall, they were extremely polite, they came prepared to work and from what I could see they did their best to be careful. I have some bulky pieces and they tried their best. I would still recommend them.
