RUN!! The worst move of my life! This people have no business in the moving Industry. I recently had a great misfortune of hiring this company to do a load job. I’m a very detail person and I explained to them that I lived on the fourth floor of an apartment that we had access to an elevator and they also had access to a parking garage. I suggested that they bring a truck so that they could load of boxes and bring them down easily. I also explain to them that I needed to have all of my white furniture items wrapped and I would provide blankets. I also use them to pack my belongings so they were well aware of what was involved in the move.
In all fairness I was warned the truck I rent imay be was too small. But the damage that was done at nothing to do with the size of the truck. It had to do with simple neglect. Every single item I hadn’t made it to the destinations just fine except for the three that were not wrapped with the blanket that I provided.
I provided over 30 blankets. And I explain to them the items that needed to be shrink-wrapped and verified with them many times they would in fact show up with shrink wrap.
I hired three movers for four hours keeping in mind that it does take time to shrink wrap or blanket wrap furniture. Remember this is a two bedroom apartment. No dining room no tables. Only two movers showed even though I had contracted for three.
On my move date they came up totally unprepared. Imagine showing up with no dollies and one roll of shrink wrap. I’ve had 17 move and I have never heard of an apartment move without furniture dollies. After I explained what needed to be done again to theyvbegan to take furniture down to the track. After one load they didn’t come back up. THEY ABANDONED THE JOB!!! That’s right they just left. No explanation, no discussion.
When I reached out to them they proceeded to tell me that my job will take four people seven hours. 28 man hours for a two bedroom apartment hmmmmm really. Two years previously I moved the same household items and it took three men three hours. (this is a two bedroom apartment). No barbecue, no patio furniture, no dining room furniture just two bedrooms a kitchen a sofa and a coffee table and boxes.
I spoke to Caleb the owner and he begged me to allow him to send out another crew. I should’ve left it alone!! But he was very nice and I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. He Explain to me he was on his honeymoon and his brother was the one who showed up. He told me his brother has issues, the crew told me the same thing as well, that he has a bad temper.
I can only blame myself that I allow them to continue the job. Yeah completely incompetent, ill prepared And unknowledgeable.
Every single piece that was not wrapped is scratch damaged, stained and ruined.
He agreed to give me 25% off the job because of his brother walking off. And he apologized but nothing can make up for what they did to my things. When I saw everything being offloaded I contacted him and showed him photos of the way my things were handled. And he proceeded to blame the victim. I love companies that don’t take responsibility for themselves. That’s OK lesson learned it’s easier to just hire somebody on craigslist then go through hire a helper I would never use this referral service again. And I would Never use this company again. They have no idea what they’re doing. I’m blaming the victim is never OK!!!

Unfortunately there is absolutely nothing we can do to help you. We cannot take liability on something that was not professionally driven or unloaded by us, not to mention the fact that there were two other guys from “craigslist” that you willingly hired to help. You didn’t have the decency to provide the proper materials necessary to complete your job. We offered to sell you bigger blankets and you also had a truck that was not able to fit half your belongings. Another note is the fact that the items your pointing out have fabric covers on them, the actual couch itself isn’t even damaged and it does indeed have shrink wrap on there. When you aren’t able to provide us with the proper material or space to do your job effectively and efficiently there isn’t much we can do. We are moving labor help labor, not a full service moving company. If you would have hired a full service moving company you would have paid 5x what you paid. I can’t sit here and cater to your problems because you can’t read fine print. We did your move practically for free! We also did use a Furniture Dolly(4 wheel) along with 2 carts. When you have three separate companies do your move you 100% should expect damages, but to blame one company directly is ludicrous.

I usually don’t leave reviews for anything, but these guys were fantastic. Came and got the job done in a hurry. Took care of the washer and dryer, put the bed back together, hot day, never complained. Couple of good really good guys.

Minimize miscellaneous contents by having loose items properly boxed and labeled. Disassemble any bed frames or difficult items to get through door ways to save time and money on your move. Give the movers direction on where you want certain items.
