Both the men worked the full 2 hours without stopping. The took great care with our furniture and made sure it was well wrapped.

Two guys were real hard workers who were careful with every box, bundle and furniture too. Loaded my pod within time frame and only concern was at end they were tired and I had to make sure they didn't just put my stuff anywhere in pod to get it done, which is what anyone should do is to oversee the job as it is your stuff. Highly recommended, never have I had movers so wonderful with my items & I've moved a lot! Timely and cost efficient. Good job.

HIT OR MISS . . . I hired Jay's Moving TWICE. 1st thru Hire-a-Helper, 2nd time booked directly thru Jay. The 1st time, Jay himself and 1 other guy came and they did a great job packing the storage pod in our driveway efficiently, figured out how to move a gigantic cabinet down the stairs, then also moved everything from an upstairs office downstairs into the storage pod, and then all the contents of 1 room to another. They worked hard and got the job done, so I had no problem giving them more business...UNTIL...
The 2nd job I booked was to come back and move everything from the storage pod back into the garage (after our remodel) and asked if they could ASSEMBLE several IKEA pieces. He said they could. I was expecting the same 2 guys to come, but he sent 2 other guys who were MUCH SLOWER and WERE NOT GOOD AT ASSEMBLY. They were here for 7 hours and still had 4 more IKEA cabinets to build so Jay called and said to sent them home and he would come back himself with another guy the next day and said he's do it at half the rate to make up for it. He called after the scheduled start time saying he was called to do a last minute job and asked if he could he come later. I had plans later and said since I needed it done yesterday, I'd really prefer him to come now. He said he'd see if that job could find another company, then hours and hours went by and said he had a team 20 min. away and they'd be there soon....Then more hours went by and he stopped answering my calls and did not respond to text. Basically was a NO SHOW.
At 6:00pm a random guy called me saying Jay gave the job to him but he had his own (higher) pricing than what Jay & I had worked---plus, this guy wanted me to pay for his gas. I told him I wanted to discuss it with Jay and asked him to have him call me, which he never did and he continued to ignore my phone calls and texts. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
I finally worked out a deal with this other person he dumped the job onto to come assemble the 4 pieces of IKEA furniture and it was another TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE---it took 7 hours total. Initially, after putting just the shells/outside cases of the cabinets together told me he was done and that it would be EXTRA $$ to put on the Doors & Drawers because they came in a separate box and he considered them additional pieces. I was outraged. Then he told me we had the wrong doors for the cabinets and was missing a part. I spent about 35 minutes on hold with IKEA Customer Service to find that we did in fact have the correct doors and all the parts. When he was finally done, he had left off all of the 'feet' that go under the cabinets for some reason and acted like that was not part of the job either. It was a crazy, long, expensive day. I'm just glad it's over and I will not be hiring or recommending Jay's Moving Services OR the person he gave the job to when he decided to be a NO SHOW. Find someone more reliable and more professional than Jay's Moving Services or his friends.

Jay's did a great job. They worked really hard the entire time. The team really knew what they were doing and did a nice job covering furniture and moving things down several flights of stairs. They took care not to hit walls. I was very pleased with the overall job and Jay was so knowledgeable about packing a POD. Thank you for a job well done.

There was a mix up with our booking, resulting in four hour delay. We worked it out in the end and they did a great job. I would use them again.

The furnitures they moved for us turned out a bit heavier than my original estimate, but they did a good job without putting any scratches either on the furnitures themselves nor the surrounding structures.
Pleasant personalities to deal with, and they kept good tight communications prior to arrival, also.
