A1 is absolutely horrible, didn't even finish the job.
We want to address a recent review and clarify the circumstances surrounding an incident with this customer. Our goal is always to provide safe, professional, and transparent service, and we take all feedback seriously.
The customer initially contacted us to request a schedule change just one hour before our arrival. Despite explaining that we could not modify the scheduled time through HireAHelper — and confirming he would still be on time — he arrived approximately one hour late. Upon arrival, he had difficulty accessing his storage unit, which required additional time to cut off a lock.
The situation escalated when the customer arrived with a truck filled with what he claimed was three months’ old trash, which he ran out of time to dump. The odor was extremely foul, resembling something dead, and the trash bags were leaking, spilling fluids onto the ramp and ground. There were multiple buckets of spilled oil, diesel fuel, transmission fluid, along with broken metal and glass debris, creating a hazardous environment.
The storage manager, who oversees the storage facility, had to intervene due to complaints from other storage customers, instructing the customer to close the truck door because of the overwhelming smell.
All items requested by the customer were moved from storage to the back of the truck as instructed. While the customer attempted to make space, issues arose when he demanded our crew to load items unsafely on top of the trash pile, which we refused for safety reasons. Our crew then advised calling the HireAHelper manager, but the customer attempted to prevent us from doing so. After calling HireAHelper to report the incident, the customer responded with insults and abusive language directed at our staff — which we handled professionally, despite provocations.
The customer refused to clear a proper loading area. Despite these difficult conditions, our crew stayed and assisted within the scheduled time. However, the customer’s aggressive behavior and language made the situation unmanageable and discouraged us from allowing additional time. He used offensive language, racist slurs, and belittling comments, insisting that our crew work under hazardous conditions, which they rightly refused to do.
The customer’s behavior changed after seeing that all items had been moved to the designated spot. When we called HireAHelper to report him, he became uncooperative, cursing at our crew, and falsely claimed that they did not want to work — despite completing approximately 97% of the work in less than 30 minutes. We have documented all interactions.
Please be assured that we prioritize safety, professionalism, and transparency in all our operations. As of this report, this customer threatening behavior and the incident have been reported to HPD. We will continue to follow up as necessary.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Upon booking, we will provide you with a detailed itinerary of our services and ensure that we have all the necessary information to execute the move smoothly. Our team of experienced movers will arrive promptly on the day of the move, equipped with all the necessary tools and supplies. We will handle your belongings with care and ensure that they are safely transported to your new location. If there are any unexpected situations or last-minute changes, we will work with you to find the best solution.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
. Our team will take extra care with fragile items and ensure they are properly wrapped and secured during transport. We will also provide any necessary disassembly/reassembly of items, as well as placement of items in your new location. Throughout the process, our team will communicate with you and address any concerns or questions you may have. Our goal is to make your moving day as stress-free and efficient as possible.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Label all boxes clearly with their contents and the room they belong in. This will help your movers (or yourself) to quickly deliver the boxes to the appropriate room. Additionally, make sure furniture is disassembled as much as possible. Remove drawers and shelves, unscrew legs, and pack any loose pieces in labeled boxes or bags. It's also a good idea to have all your moving supplies (packing tape, bubble wrap, and scissors) in a designated area, so they are easily accessible when needed.

In our 15 years of experience we have been responsible for handling thousands of Houston local moves as well as cross country office moves. Some of our previous customers include NASA, T-Mobile Houston Public Library, Houston Astros, Methodist Hospital. Superbowl Houston. Reliant Energy.

My favorite part about being a mover is helping and being part our customers transitioning period in to a new home and new life.
